I need to thank you! Your book must have helped me a lot. I m so in university in autumn! ;) I applied to helsinki university to 2 programs and they accepted me to both! I still cannot believe this, it means that I will be a teacher one day. This school takes 5 years so I for sure have to use your techniques later on. 1600 people applied to this school and they accepted 120. I was one of them! Thanks! Anna Sorvari, Finland

If you are a tad forgetful like me, this book will remind you to remember! It contains great tips for clearing cloudy memories. --Top 10 Books on Self-Improvement, allwomenstalk.com

Thanks for a life-changing book. It saved me when I was in trouble. In my second year of university I failed on two exams. I panicked. But then I read about your book, and that made the whole difference! Fantastic! Anna Sjöberg, Sweden

I just had the chance to apply the techniques to an exam for the first time: I memorized loads of names, dates, and detailed information about literary history. Let me say that I have *very* bad exam anxiety, especially for essays. Using Memo made a remarkable difference. Focusing was much easier as well. And yes, I got an A, and still remember the all the information quite vividly. --Brede Olsen, Norway

I bought this book to improve my memory for job interviews and names. I have always had a hard time to remember especially names and phone numbers.

The book takes a structured approach to memorize phone numbers, names, academics, calendar items and much more. If you have never read anything about memory then I would highly recommend spending some time on the memory techniques in this book - It will prove very valuable.

The book is very easy to read and Oddbjørn By have a funny and inspiring attitude, which makes the book fun to read. In order to get results you need to spend a little time to practice. It is not a free lunch, but if you spend time I am quite sure you will become impressed how easy you can remember all 50 American states without hesitating. In alphabetic order. The same could be done with your anatomy or accounting curriculum.

The downside is that you need to keep practicing otherwise you will forget the memory techniques, but if you spend some time I believe the book is very useful!

I have personally used the techniques for job interviews, in Management Consulting, solving cases where you need to hold a lot of information in your head while demonstrating your analytical skills at the same time. Here the techniques proved very useful.

Read some good reviews about this book and decided to try it.
Was not disappointed..., following the book I was pleasantly surprised
when I actually was able to remember large amounts of information
without writing it down on paper.
It`s not like a "free lunch", you do have to make an effort, but if you do,
you will be rewarded and it`s something you can use the rest of your life.

This is by far the most informative book i have EVER read, it is totally amazing. The methods work. Just incase you missed that 'IT REALLY WORKS'. The more time you spend in the beginning setting your mindset, the more effective the methods! On the other hand, if you just want some tips on remembering everyday things, this book is full of them, you don't even have to spend time on them, they just work! This book can be used for numerous objectives, for the rest of your life. My children are all using the different methods for bettering their school grades, they all feel that this book should be part of the schools' essential reading list and a part of the curriculum. It is really fun to read, the author comes across as honest, very informative and entertaining! My family and I recommend this book wholeheartedly!:-)

This book was and still is very useful for me. I was looking for some information at internet about memory improvement but it were heaps of different websites with enormous amount of information.
I have read several books about easiest way to remember figures and dates, but never found the material practical and quick to implement. The book is direct, simple and powerful and this book will benefit anyone who wants to enable success in their education through self-improvement.
I have given this book out to my friends and university mates, and consider it the best tool out there to help them to improve their performance and effectiveness.

This book shows real life examples of some great memory techniques.

If you can remember what your friend's house is like inside, you can remember their phone number, birthday, and anniversary date.

People who don't have much of a memory at all (like me) can get very, very good and very fast at applying these skills. You end up with the same memory you always had, but also with a virtual file cabinet in your head that you can load and read with these 'tricks'.

I combined Cornell notes (great for creating item points to remember) and Anki (free, multi platform, spaced repetition software) to run through the Memo'ed items until I had them cold. It didn't take long and works wonderfully for all kinds of information.

Even better, the Anki flashcard decks make a great last minute refresher.

Never, ever, in my life has it been so easy to remember so many numbers, with Zero chance of mixing them up! All of my kids' phone numbers, all of my credit and debit card numbers and pins, even my bank account and routing numbers are as easy to remember as the layout of my bank branch.

This book was an easy read and pays me back every day for the short time invested learning Memo.

Well done!

I've just hit 60 and want to do everything I can to remain mentally sharp. I'd been having a hard time remembering series of numbers such as charge card and driver's license numbers. I tried the author's simple method and was pleasantly surprised that it works for me! I did not try to learn the more complicated method that allows one to remember an entire deck of cards. I have no use for that! I've also successfully used his visualization method to help me remember a long grocery list. I'm very glad I took the time to read this book and use what I learned to improve my memory.

This is a great read. I am a grad student who will try this out on my next exam. I enjoyed the simplicity of Memo. I am a visual person and often visualize the classroom when desperately recalling information. This method was new to me but relatively easy for me to pick up on. I will teach my kids because it really feels like a visual game to me. I've read the NYT on people who win the memory competitions, but this book really explains it candidly and without too much rhetoric. If I had this undergrad, I would have aced every test!
