Overall I'm going to say this series was pretty good and am glad that my favorite character, Erry, got a good ending that didn't involve her being with that madman leresy.
That battles were pretty good like they are in all of the authors books with flying dragons and brutal details involving even our main characters (one of them gets their fingers chopped)
I thought the main villain was a bit weak compared to Dies Erie or Solina from the previous series. The guy just didn't do it for me.
My last thoughts are that ending was pretty good despite Kaelyn ending up with you know who, not sure why it just irked for some reason even if I was expecting it. However it is nice to get a happier ending out of all this.
Overall I would say this series is a good deal and gets my recommendation.
What agony and joy the people had, then taken all away by the tyrant of Frey. I guess all through history it is the same, people that want power are sick to start with. The cruelity that power creates is awful, you can rule with a firm hand, but you don't need to be cruel to do
What makes this 5 star... I love dragons. I've been waiting for a book such as this. Where human transform into dragons. We always have were wolves or vampires or birds or the Naga..... why not Dragons? Now I'm hoping he brings these dragons into the modern world, our world, with our technology and see what happens. I hope he writes it.
The series makes me think. I love it.
are you confused about the stars and the title!! entilited, confused! lol
let me explain. people would like to think it doesnt matter but it does to me, I am a 36 year old african american mother of 3, and in no way have i ever cared for fantasy. but OMG!! ive read them all and just downloaded this one have not read one page, nope! nota one. it dont matter because its awesome and i know it. so get it!
i share all of trilogies with my 14 year and he loves them also so there it hits more then one generation. Daniel writes so colorfully that I hope and wish Im alive when this goes to screen and it should. you got cha love, bloody battles, gore, you wont feel dumb reading them but its not hard to follow the story.every time i start a new one im fighting with myself on rather or not to read it all at once or savor it. just try them. normally im a historical fiction kinda woman but hey who likes to eat the same thing all the time!! I know all good things gotta end, but I need like 3 more of these.
