Crack me up!!!! This is a gift for my sister and she is going to love it! hahahahahah... It came here first so I got to look it over. If you need a laugh and you like color, then this is right up your alley. Hilarious! Not for the kiddos, though, so keep it out of little hands. It's just so fun!
James Alexander is my favorite. His books ar hilarious and impossible not to love and enjoy. I have inadvertently sold dozens of his books to friends and family just buy showing them my book. You will not regret this purchase, you will regret not making it sooner. :)

Love it!! My husband and I were giggling as we went through the book, and I cannot wait to get started on these delightfully vulgar and beautiful designs!! Bravo! 10000000x better than others I have purchased.

I personally love coloring animals and design and around the phrases in this book are pictures of animals and tons of detail. He really outdid himself on this book. Being my first book by James Alexander, if this is an indication of how all his books are, I will be the proud owner of them all some day.
In my video I show you all the designs and pages in the book so you can see just what I'm talking about. They are amazing! The only difficult thing is reading some of the pages before they are colored because there is so much detail surrounding them. However, when you color them, they totally "pop out" at you. The pages are a tiny bit thinner than normal but I always just place a few sheets of paper or a piece of poster board in between them anyways to ensure nothing goes through to the next page. There are no perforations in this book and it's got a lot of pages and designs in it. I absolutely would recommend this book and if I could give this 10 stars, I would have!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!
The back of the book is designed for "Soothing and calming". They say silly things like: "Chuck it in the Eff It bucket" and "Hakuna your tatas". Seriously. They're quirky and entertaining little quips. The pages mostly have silly little animal critters on them and the words are camouflaged into the page a bit. The pages are nice and thick, so the colors don't bleed through. Each page is only printed on the font.
I LOVE THIS BOOK! A lot. I almost want to buy multiples of them and hand them out as gifts. ... and find a page in each book and just write "To you, from me"... but hand them the whole book and let them figure it out.
The book itself is of good quality. Printing is clear and paper is decent. The Flair pens did bleed through a little. If using similar types of markers, a buffer sheet of paper is a good idea. There is one picture per page, blank on the back side. They're not perforated and I see no way to neatly remove them from the book. Of course, they could be copied, then color the copy if you have the urge to give a message to someone.
The book includes links for more downloads to print, which I haven't yet explored. The author also has a free subscription to get more downloadable pages in your email. I feel there is a lot of value for the money with this purchase. Again, if you don't want to see/color some really profane/obscene phrases, this is not the book for you. The author does have books with the cute animal artwork and no swears, if you like his style without the swears.
What I don't like:
--like 80% of the stuff to color is just... leaves. Why the hell would I want to color leaves non stop?
--every page looks almost the same with just a different cuss word on it.
I quickly colored in this picture so people could see how much was left uncolored. All I colored in was the non-leafy pictures. Nearly every page has this amount of "just leaves" on it.
I hope this is helpful.
