Top customer reviews
This glove manages to accomplish all of these requirements on different levels.
- This glove stays dry. *Be sure to dry hand before wearing, as it can cause smells and increase difficulty to insert/remove hand
-There is a break in period in which these gloves will feel firm. Give them a chance as the will start to become more flexible. The sizing may need to one size up as a medium was a very tight fit for me at first, now its not so bad.
-My hand never have a problem keeping warm. I can grap dollies, six-wheelers, carts, etc... in grocery freezer before taking to the floor and not feel any discomfort. <-One of the best things I can say about this glove.
-I can remove/ insert my hand in this glove with little to no effort. When using my cellphone its not a big task to do.
Things to consider:
Sizing- is a bit tight, might need one size up
Quality- these gloves have formed slight tears in between the thumb and index finger, this is related to sizing though. For the price I do not expect these gloves to last all year but they have treated me more than well for about two months
Grip- as it gets warmer more condensation forms so with more water there is less friction not to big of a deal but don't expect these to grip well in wet situations
Lining- condensation and wet hands can make the glove smell. I rubbed ACV (apple cider vinegar) on my hands then wear and away it goes.
Dexterity- I handled items from pizza boxes to small ice cream pints. I would not recommend if you are doing tasks such as tagging of handling anything smaller than whats mentioned.
Conclusion, in my opinion: They're OK for some uses, but the partially-dipped version is far better for just about everything.
So thanks to reading Amazon reviews, I ordered these beauties for handling ice. The benefit is felt immediately. Your hands are warm and dry and not at all bulky! The finger and palm surfaces are very "grippy." I'm tempted to wear these for winter activities instead of ski gloves! You know how ski gloves can get bulky? And lose one side of your ski gloves, and face a $60 replacement cost!
These gloves are very inexpensive, but appear to be very well made. I would rather have a few sets of these over one pair of expensive winter gloves because of how much dexterity is maintained. This is a wonderful purchase! Thank you Amazon! Thank you Amazon reviewers!!
The only difference is these tend to run really small. The first pair I bought were size medium and fit perfectly. Others complained about the small sizing so I ordered these in large. Almost too small. I could've easily taken an XL.
On the positive side, these, too are very warm. I've used them with wet tools and in the cold for 3 hours or so without my hands feeling even slightly cold.
They seem to be well constructed. Haven't had them long enough to judge durability. The material does seem a little thin so...we'll see.
Minus a star for the very small sizing. Other than that, highly recommended.
Other than that, they offer great dexterity for their thickness and solid protection from cold and icy temperatures. As long as your hands aren't cold when you put them on and the gloves aren't freezing themselves, they work great. They keep liquid out as long as it didn't get inside the wrist.
These gloves saved me from having to stop working every 20 minutes just to warm my hands up.
