I purchased this trombone for my daughter, she had been playing a name brand Trombone. That made me a little nervous about buying this trombone because I didn't know anyone that had one like this one. After she got the trombone she was very happy with it. She told me it has a very clear sound and can reach notes that was not possible with her other trombone. I recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

The MTB-33 Intermediate B Flat Tenor Slide with F trigger is an excellent horn for an unbelievably low price. The trigger is one of the best in the business. The horn is well finished and well made. Mendini is to be congratulated for making such great instruments available to especially youngsters starting out in the music world who would never afford higher end horns. Many higher end horns are priced higher because of their name and bragging rights. If you have a youngster who want to play trombone for a ridiculously low investment, then Mendini is the horn for you.

I bought this trombone over a year ago and so far I have no complaints, I'm a high school player and I've often been told this horn has a good tone which is even better than it sounds considering the price

First impressions, through a 5g mouthpiece, the tone is very very smooth, much more favorable over my student trombone. The slide is a bit loud but might improve over time when the grease kicks in, I'll update later on that. It's not easier nor harder to hit notes consistently.

It does feel light, and probably has less material overall. Some errors in soldering and finish here and there. But, the rotor and all the tuning slides are working perfectly.

With careful handling it feels like the trombone could last a respectable amount of time.

So I have been playing trombone for about four years now and when I had only been playing for 2 years I decided to buy this horn thinking hey its cheap for a trombone and I need an F-attachment. Well after only a year I grew out of the trombone because of private teachers and consistent practice. Im not saying its a bad horn or anything I am just saying its worth saving up the money for a good horn like a Bach or Getzen than getting this trombone.
