I understand intermittent fasting is a new concept to some people, but if you're already familiar, you will find all those pages of her trying to sell you on it really tiring.
Much of the rest of the book is a mix of recommendations for incredibly expensive therapeutic devices, supplements, and out of pocket tests. I'm not saying I don't think they would be helpful, but you end up feeling overwhelmed by the list of difficult lifestyle changes and costly stabs in the dark.
If you've got lots of money, and all the time in the world, and you are ready to change the way you have lived your entire life up till now, this is the book for you.
If you're already exhausted from going down rabbit holes to try to figure out how to treat various menopause symptoms, this book will just make you feel hopeless.

THIS BOOK IS A GODSEND. For many years I have cluelessly accepted the weight gain, mood swings, anxiety, lack of sleep, thinning hair and memory loss as inevitable signs of aging or blamed myself for not dieting enough, exercising enough, doing anything enough. It was about time that someone wrote a book about female hormones, how they interact with each other, how they influence how we feel, and how diet and lifestyle can help every woman not only transition through menopause but doing it while thriving. This book not only provides us with many answers but also gives us hope that we can prevent diseases such as diabetes and cancer. It empowers us to ask our doctors the right questions before we pop another pill and make the treatment choices that suit us best.
Every OBGYN should have a copy of this book on their desk and should be giving every patient a copy of the same. I know my OBGYN and my female friends will be getting one from me. Thank you Dr Mindy!

In chapter 8 she talks about microbiome which live in and on our bodies and recommends a Reset Microbiome protocol using certain products. I have looked up the cost of these items and in my opinion, the costs are prohibitive e.g Revitin toothpaste if you buy it from Amazon UK costs £24.25 and the probiotic supplement Ion Biome ranges in price from £33.99 (236ml) - £70.99 (946ml)! There are other recommendations in the book for certain therapies like Red light therapy etc to help women in their healing journey. It is possible the cost of these supplements are cheaper in the USA where the author is based.
The moral of of the story is to do your own research and find what works best for you!
