The micro fiber feels great unless you have dry hands, then you feel like the fabrics is 'catch' on the calluses.
I also use gold bond powder in the right places at times and then I'm even more comfortable but that's just a bonus.
I am curious as to how they will feel come hotter weather as the UA undershirt I wear gets clingy.

These are definitely the most comfortable boxers I've ever worn. There's no rolling of the legs like I would get with standard boxer briefs and the long inseam prevents any chaffing. There is a comfy package pouch to give your special purpose some room and also has an actual working fly. The elastic waistband is tall, thick, and comfy and doesn't lose its shape. They stay mostly dry from sweat and are great at keeping the core at an acceptable temperature in the heat.

Several things I've learned from experience, friends, and other reviews:

- There is an unnecessary, small white tag stitched into the rear of the waistband. Do not cut the tag on the back. If cut, it renders the boxers very uncomfortable because the top of the tag cannot be fully removed and it scrapes away at the skin. I've left them on all my pairs without issue.

- Wash cold and leave to air dry. Like most Under Armour they come out of the washer nearly dry as it is. Running through the dryer wears them out faster and decreases the smoothness of the fabric.

- On the UA website there were various reviews recommending to get one size larger. I'm normally an XL so I purchased both XL and 2XL. I've found the added size is not necessary. They both seem to fit me just fine, although the larger size does seem to lose some of the support compared to my regular size.

- When taking a leak it's important to shake well. The "last few drops" will slowly work their way down your leg and you can feel every bit as the fabric won't absorb the liquid.

Hanes and Fruit of the Loom were my previous brands of choice, but they are being replaced by the more expensive Under Armours. I've been recommending these boxers to all of my friends because, as the packaging states, "You'll never wear regular underwear again".

I've been buying men's active underwear for many, many years, and have always been sorely disappointed. Either they're far too tight, too snug in some areas while too loose in others, fail to breathe and therefore are uncomfortable for extended wearing, or they fall apart in the wash in a few cycles. I'd been resigned to terrible support underwear until I stumbled upon these after a recent typical failure with another two sets I'd invested in off the Amazon shopping site. First, I admit these seem to run a bit large--or rather they run true to size and all the other pairs I've purchased tend to run small and further shrink in the wash, making for a doubly-uncomfortable experience. But these, though pricey, are a great value to me. They're very comfortable, breathe easily regardless how hard I push myself, and come out of the wash-and-dry cycle as crisp as when I first bought them. Admittedly I've only had the two pair for about a month, but I meet with my trainer 6 days a week and am using-washing these nearly every day. I'll try to remember to update this review in about three months to report if these boxer briefs have held up. But for now, I'm such a happy customer I plan to buy another 5 pairs--1 for each of my daily training sessions--so I don't have to do wash every single night. And by the way, guys, these provide both support and comfort--too rare among men's athletic briefs/boxers. Great job, Under Armour.

I do not know how I have lived in Houston this long and not had a full set of these, should be standard issue! Say good bye to chafing and swamp A$$!!! Yes they are expensive, but most things that are of great quality are worth the money, this is one of those things.

Why did I give Men's The Original 9" Boxerjock® Boxer Briefs Bottoms by Under Armour,... a five star review?

1.) They are extremely comfortable

2.) The construction and durability of them makes me believe they will last a very long time.

3.) My wife thinks they are sexy.

I bought these because I am a police officer and I work in a tropical climate that is hot year round. (Kauai, Hawaii) I wanted something that would keep me cool, dry and comfortable with no chaffing. These have met all my needs thus far and I have actually purchased more of these in an attempt to eventually change over all my underwear to UA. I wouldn't recommend any other length besides the 9". I had a friend who bought the 6" and he said they constantly rode up on him and he couldn't stand the feeling. He did however buy the 9" as per my recommendation and he loves them. The 9" is the perfect length and is guaranteed not to ride up on the user as far as my experience goes anyways. The price on Amazon is roughly the same price that you will pay locally I think. These go for $20.00 and you will be hard pressed to find them cheaper anywhere unless they are on sale or you have a coupon. I would recommend these to any Man for whatever reason. They have changed the way I think about underwear and I will never go back to regular underwear ever again.

P.S. I am 6'3" 240LBS and I fit into the XL.

I was a huge fan but now the quality is very poor. If u can find the underwear made in Cambodia then they are well made. But if the underwear are made in Bangladesh the underwear wont fit properly because the waist band is very poorly made. The underwear will continue to slide down waist. Do not recommend.
