I love the design and it's a great party trick - a lot of fun to watch the wine bubbling back into the bottle. I was totally sold on the carafe until IT EXPLODED while inverted. Luckily, nobody was hurt, but I did lose a good bottle of wine and a platter of prime rib. The only thing I can think of - I had a platter of meat resting on the counter next to the carafe, but seriously - one would think it's common to have a carafe of wine next to a platter of meat. Be careful! The wine, and glass just went everywhere in my kitchen. We were stunned - later, I was upset that i had lost the carafe, the wine, and our entire dinner.
Note: I tried contacting the company - both via an email from their website AND a facebook message. I have received no response or update. Apparently, they want to sell their products, but not stand behind them.
