RE Butler has so many series that I absolutely love, to pick a favorite would be hard, but this zoo series is about to be one of my absolute favorites. Just the ingenious idea of different shifters, living in a zoo type safari park in the middle of the city is just amazing and everything you can think of is taken care of where it never becomes public. Open to the public. Yes, but everything else about this park is a secret. And unfortunately, Mercer he hast to keep this secret from Rhami. They both knew even though she is human that they were meant to be together but the secret had to keep until he was absolutely sure she was in love with him and was going to be their future. But when a surprise shift startle her, she is having her doubts about it because she was lied to. Of course, they managed to work their way through it to a wonderful happily ever after, and the surprise shift that she saw opens up for us. New story. Excellent job RE Butler.

A human woman goes to the safari park with some friends to see the aviary. Once she enters the park pis drawn to the security office. A lion shifter works and lives in the park. A new type of shifter also comes into play in this story. You will have to read the book to find out what all happens to everyone. Some very interesting twists and turns take place.
