This vector looking tank battle game is what you would call a slow burner. It does have its moment. Bigger battles will have you weaving in and out, timing your shots. Some have capture points and AI control allies. I found this part fun. unfortunately those moments are to few and far between. You'll spend a lot of time just going from point A to B, with 1 or 2 enemies thrown in to brake up the boredom.
The art style is good. This is my taste, I like vector art. The ships, tanks, even your tank shell look great. Minimalistic, but great. The art style wile looking nice did cause me some game play problems. More often than I would care to say, I found my self running into walls. I had this same problem with "star fox" for the "Virtual boy". A wall and an opening can look very simaler when there are no shadows and all the walls are the same color.
In the end I didn't care about the story I just wanted to drive the tank around in an arena type fight. I purchased this game based on the demo game play. It was a capture the flag style fight. That is in the full game. just not to the extent I would of liked.

This game is terrific. So long as you own something better than a Pentium 3 it'll play great. The graphics are very Tron-esque and reminiscent of wire-frame tank games from the 80's. I got mine through Steam.
