The important features that I have experienced:
-Multiple angles are well placed to compliment your sitting position.
-Sturdy and solid for resting your wrists and typing on your lap or a flat surface. Comfortable for lap use in jeans but, not padded for bare skin on the bottom. I wouldn't say it hurts or is uncomfortable still.
-Blows air at your wrists as my hands get warm when typing a lot. You can rest your hands and cool them off as well.Read more ›
Also this cooling stand is very helpful when you want to keep you laptop on your laps. What i dont like about this cooling stand is its sliding locks placed at the bottom. They get fall down some time.
First off, it comes well packaged in a nice cardboard box, which was more than I expected given the low price. I know - super exciting, but it does help protect the product from the worst the delivery companies can throw at it.
Operation is pretty easy. I had no problem finding a comfortable viewing angle among the five available positions. The included feet that hold the laptop aren't the prettiest things, they work. While the kickstand and fan grill are metal, most of the stand is plastic. If you'd prefer all metal construction or something a little prettier, the Amazon Basics laptop stands might be a better option for you (though you won't get a fan and on some models the ability to adjust the angle of the laptop). That said, the plastic seems to be of good quality.... and you don't really see much of it anyway with the laptop on top.
There are two USB ports on the stand, but you'll only be able to use one of them for any accessories. One USB provides power for the fan to work. I'd recommend using the other port to plug in a desktop style keyboard since it wouldn't be to comfortable to type on the raised keyboard after a while.
The only real disappointments with this stand are the fan and embedded LED light. While the fan is advertised as silent, there is still a bit of noise. I also would like the power button in a little more convenient location. Finally, while the fan is running, the embedded blue LED light will be on.Read more ›

it came with the bottom holder missing. didn't return it, just tossed it. it'd be great for a short person like me for standing and working. Read morePublished 5 hours ago by sweetpea
Cools great. But the bottom bracket breaks easily. Bought My husband and I each one about 6 months ago and both of them just recently broke. Read morePublished 22 hours ago by Amazon Customer
A little wobbly for larger 17 inch laptops. Works great with my 13 inch Sony; like the fan that runs from USB solved hot spot from SSD. Read morePublished 1 day ago by Pam Tedrow
I've had this stand for just about a week now and it is pretty close to perfect. The fan is very quiet and keeps my 17in laptop very cool and offers great viewing angles. Read morePublished 4 days ago by ZombieKingpin910
I've bought this twice, I would rate it higher if they didn't break. Would suggest metal supports on the bottom.Published 6 days ago by Justin Wilson
works well, keeps the computer about 15 degrees cooler and the adjustable height allows you to set a comfortable angle to type and view screen.Published 8 days ago by Wayne
This product is everything I hoped it would be. I use it 8 hours a day 5 days a week and it keeps my laptop running cool. The fan is quiet. I don't ever even think about it. Read morePublished 8 days ago by Helen D Triplitt
