Well made shoe but a bit too narrow

I loved these but had to send them back because, although I wear a 10 and generally do not need a wide shoe, these shoes cut the inside sole of my feet wear the arch support is. There was also some rubbing on the back heal of both feet. In the long run, I was in some pain and discomfort very quickly, in about an hour and I know I'll be walking much more when I go to Burkina Faso. They seemed to be made well but this definitely was a purchase I think would be better to either "try before you buy" or go into the store for a fitting. Amazon made it easy to return and I'm looking forward to trying another one of their hiking sandals in the future.

Love these shoes! Super lightweight and comfortable from the very first wearing, and I have sensitive, bony feet that always cause hot spots with new shoes. I wore these right out of the box for a trip to Zion. Hiked in both wet and dry conditions without a single blister. Traction was fantastic as well in both wet and dry conditions. Another winner from Merrell.

Fitted but hard to walk in

I like that they are fitted nicely to my foot. They’re not the greatest for grip. A bit slippery. The soles are hard and not really formed to the foot. Not memory foam by any means. Kind of light. Probably my favorite water shoe I’ve tried this far.

Tried 4 different closed toe styles (Teva, Keen -normally my go-to) and Chaco. These were the winner based on comfort and looks. Chaco and Teva both have great footbed with good arch support but look like an old person’s shoe. The All Out Blaze Sieve has it all, comfort, arch support and looks good.

Went with other reviews to order 1/2 size up. I should have not have done that as they do stretch a bit and now they seem a bit "sloppy" instead of snug. Snug would be nicer for this particular shoe. But I do love this shoe.

I used these shoes to walk through swamps, ponds, and Bottomland hardwood. The shoes provided my feet with adequate protection however things like twigs and small rocks/ acorns were able to get into the holes. The shoes also didn't dry as quickly as I expected, however I think this is because they were caked in mud. Overall I thought they were a good pair of outdoor shoes. They are comfortable, fit well, and are easy to pull on and off even when wet. I'm giving them 4 stars because they aren't as universal for wet environments as I would have liked.

I wasn't a fan of this shoe. For a start, it didn't fit me properly, it felt too big. Also the sole was a hard rubber which I suspect would leave me with blisters in next to no time. Maybe it would be useful for someone who is in an out of wet conditions because the holes at the side would allow water to drain. I wouldn't fancy walking any distance in this shoe

This walking/ trekking shoe is very comfortable on long walks and I am hoping it will be equally good for trekking. The quality is very good and certainly lives up to the Merell name. It is great that it comes in half sizes;I ordered half a size bigger than my actual size and this allows me to wear socks on cold days whilst on warmer days, I just tighten up the toggle. I was especially pleased with this purchase as it was on offer and I managed to save £39.00 as a result.
