I purchased this seal pillow during quarantine in the hopes that he would bring some much-needed joy to my lonely quarantine existence. I thought I would be receiving a sweet, loving seal that would welcome me with open fins for daily snuggle seshes. The smile on his face in the advertised pictures, - warmed my cold heart and I just knew we would be friends forever. Unfortunately, what I received was a little different then the amazon photos. Maybe this was due to the vacuumed SEALed bag, but that could also be my way of coping. The seal I received is not as welcoming as I originally thought he would be. The face of a very judgmental seal pillow now stares at me with disgust and almost a touch of attitude on a daily basis. I hate to go as far to say that he is almost a little too smug to want me to snug. I am still giving this pillow 5-stars because he is a thicc boy and I just can’t stay upset with him.

I showed my 10 year old daughter a picture of the chubby blob seal and from that second on she had to have one. Seriously, it was all she wanted for her birthday. iPad? Nope......chubby blob seal. X-Box? Nope..........chubby blob seal. So, that is what I got her. She absolutely loves that thing and takes it to bed every night.

NOTE: It comes vacuum sealed so make sure you open it up and fluff it up, allowing it to get to its full size. That takes about 2 weeks. I was glad I did that before I gave it to her or else she would have had a flat pancake seal instead.

But after washing and drying them, they were taken out to rest in the sun for a bit. This caused them to become the soft chubby plushies that I love. I thought it would be a bit pillow like, but it's really quite small, and less shapely, it's quite flat. So a bit disappointing really. Not worth the money. If I had seen it in real life I would not have bought it. Or only if it was $12....
