Messenger of God Kindle Edition
Nicolaas (Seer) van Rensburg was a modern day Nostradamus. He became a legend during his lifetime and was one of the most remarkable and controversial characters that ever lived in South Africa.
Right from its first publication in Afrikaans (1993) the biography of Seer van Rensburg had such an impact on readers that it was reprinted 27 times and is still on the best-sellers list. In 2006 a German translation (Wortes eines Propheten) was published by Argo-Verlag, Marktoberdorf. The book had hardly hit the bookshelves when the publisher, Ingrid Schlotterbeck, was harassed by the authorities in every possible manner to prevent the book from being distributed.
A documentary based on the book was broadcast by the SABC-TV in 1999 on Special Assignment, and within a month the executive editor of the program, Max du Preez, was dismissed by the SABC. And more than seven decades after the prophet's death the author, Adriaan Snyman, was victimised and threatened by the government of the day. On Christmas Eve 2002, the police arrived at his house with a warrant to confiscate illegal fire arms, ammunition, books dealing with the Seer's prophecies, Max du Preez's documentary (Nicolaas "Siener" van Rensburg), lectures by the author about the Seer and all related documents. A year later his home was raided once again on Friday, November 30, 2003.
Even in his own lifetime the government of SA considered the Seer's controversial prophecies as a threat to national security. In 1916 he was sentenced to 11 months in prison by Judge Lang who ordered him to keep his dreams and visions to himself!
Van Rensburg not only foretold the future of South Africa, but also that of England, Europe, America, Japan and Russia. Before his death in 1926 he predicted that ethnic violence will explode worldwide after the turn of the century and start World War III. He describes the events on the battlefields of the world in such detail as though he himself had been an eye-witness.
Here are some of the prophecies he made from 1899 until his death in 1926:
• Outbreak of the Anglo-Boer War and that South Africa will lose that war
• The First World War, the Flu epidemic and the Second World War
• Dr. HF Verwoerd, former Prime Minister, will be murdered.
• The nuclear disaster at Chernobyl on April 26 1986
• The divorce and murder of a beautiful English noble woman in a ‘car accident’ and who
would be mourned by the whole world
• The release of Nelson Mandela by ex-President F W de Klerk
• South Africa will be governed by a black government
• Japan's destruction by earthquakes, and that
• England will be struck by seven terrible plagues when World War III is at hand
The astounding prophecies in this book are of great importance, not only to South Africans, but also to the people of the Western world.

It’s very seldom that God sends His people a profit, trusted by those that believe in the Day of the vow 16 December 1838. We the Afrikaner people are being slaughtered and our strive has been foreseen but so also our salvation. We love our God, we love our people and we love our country. Oom Niklaas is a bittereinder just like us. We are scattered yet united. There is so few of us left, like Rhinos in Africa. This book is a must read if you want to know what the future has in store for the world!!!

I have no doubt that the seer was gifted. He relates to issues and the way of life in his time, so that's a crucial consideration. The author, however, is extremely biased and adding his own opinions muddies the content. I'm sure a different author would give a different slant. Some editing issues too, but the rating is for capturing the life of the seer.

It would seem his words are destined to be full filled. The present shows so much change. Good bye baizuo.

The book is poorly written. It is a grammatical disaster, very repetitive and it is not well referenced. It makes startling claims; and I searched for references and I could not verify some claims. Perhaps this is truthful; but when it’s so poorly written it’s difficult to give it any credibility.

An amazing account of the history of South Africa and the Boer nation.Never have I heard of a clairvoyant / remote viewer with this type of accuracy. With his track record and predictions about the future for not only the Boer people but for the world, I truly feel that everyone should read this book

I do believe the interpretation of the visions bares scrutiny however it is difficult to deny the accuracy of something that was merely translated and then published in the early 90s. its the only prophet thing I wasn't looking for but found that worried me. I am an American and I do believe God would judge us and find us wanting. It is also odd that so far Edgar Cayce mentioned something about a war between the U.S. and Russia. Another was a woman in Norway that echoed the same and did not contradict Rensburg. Unfortunately, I found there is a Frenchman that said the same but I cannot remember their name. A warning to those who go looking for some of the other "prophets", the readings from Edgar Cayce being 14,000+, were not cheap, they are on disc and the program on the disc sucks.

These prophecies by Nicholass van Rensburg are astonishing! About 400 of his 700 predictions have come true already and he wrote about our time now, with a man who has hair that looks like a wig, coming from across the sea to help the white South Africans. This is President Donald Trump. I feel that all of our lives unfolding at this time are part of van Rensburg's prophecies so everybody should be reading this book! This is about your life and your family's future.

I enjoyed reading this book. The visions are interesting. Interpretations are quite shocking. I found visions hard to read and understand. You will enjoy.

An excellent book in my opinion. This man was a man of God and many of his prophecies have come true. I would recommend this book.
