I love it and will use it but the product dimensions state 15.5 x 10.24 x 5 inches… you can clearly see it is much smaller. And the pictures they present make it look much nicer than it really is. As I said, I still like it, though, and will definitely use it. Just calibrate your expectations.

I wanted to get into the habit of sketchbooking. This looks pretty nice and it has some room for most of my supplies inside. It has a nice strap so I can use it as a 'purse' of sorts. But the edges are showing a little wear and the paint rubbing off. Not a lot but enough to be noticeable. It holds my sketchbook/watercolor supplies pretty well and there is a stick that you use to prop open the box at an angle if you want to use it on a table or your lap. Since I have a sketchbook that will not fit inside of this box, I am currently using a luggage strap I bought at Daiso and cut down so I can securly strap the book to this box.
But overall I am happy with this purchase. If I had friends who were into art and sketchbooking like me, I would consider this a decent gift.

This is the cheapest piece of garbage I've ever received on Amazon yet. The back panel was already falling off and was secured with cheap double stick tape. The box is made of the cheapest and thinnest pine imaginable. Even the accessory holders are just thinly stapled in place. Perhaps I've been too fortunate in my previous experiences where I received quality merch that's close to what it should be for the price. This is nowhere near it. $10 is overpriced.

I was expecting this to look nice based on pictures. The actual box surpassed my expectations. I can fit my watercolor pens, pencils, drawing pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener, paint brushes, and two different types of watercolor paper.
When I go out to do plein air sketching and painting, everything I need is in my box, including a easel which is made when you flip the wooden lid up.
Best of all (for me at least) the box has a really nice deep brown leather strap, long enough to throw over my shoulder. I carry my box like a purse because it’s convenient and easy. I hope you are able to order this. I loved it when I saw it here, and continue to love it after having it for a good amount of time. I couldn’t imagine not having it now. I was getting so tired of having to lug so much stuff around to do plein air that I had stopped doing it.

The loose wooden stick you can use for an internal support has nothing holding it in place so it slides around unless you get it exactly centered and don't jiggle the box much. Dimensions according to the product description: 10.63 x 8.11 x 2.8 inches. Actual exterior dimensions: 9.75 x 7.25 x 2.5.
