This bag is, for the most part, pretty nice. The canvas and strap are comparable to similar bags from bigger names, the zippers seem okay, and the general configuration/layout/whatever you want to call it is fairly standard. However, I do have a few nitpicks.

First, The pleather accents. Most of these are not an issue, since they're purely decorative. The strap is attached by way of pleather loops, though. I have some concern that, eventually, the loops could wear through, suddenly leaving me with a bag that has no shoulder strap. The pleather is fairly thick, so maybe this won't be an issue, but it does potentially concern me a bit.

Second, I am confused by the tablet pocket. Like a lot of bags, there is no padding in the narrow sides, so if you swung it into something by mistake, you might damage the tablet. However, it gets worse.

There is padding in the broad side between the front flap pocket and the main compartment, and also in the main compartment divider. There is no padding, though, in the very back, where the product pictures seem to indicate the tablet pocket is. There also is no padding in the bottom here, compared to a slight bit of padding in the bottom of the main compartment. This means that I really wouldn't want to actually put a tablet in the supposed tablet pocket, and instead would have to use the main compartment. This means the main compartment is essentially taken up if you're carrying a tablet.

Top top it off, if I put a tablet of roughly the recommended size inside, it barely fits. I have to kind of pull the edge of the opening around the tablet's corners. (And that's without even having a case on the tablet!)

Overall, I like this bag pretty well, as long as I'm not using it to carry a tablet. I do have some slight concerns about durability of the pleather and such, but we'll see how that turns out. I think you could definitely do worse.

Zippers on front, back and across the top! Small zippered pouch in front, larger pouch in back, larger pouch w. access via top of the messenger bag. Absolutely perfect! Exactly what I was looking for! The number of pouches forces you to be organized (e.g., putting all your glasses (reading/sun glasses/distance) in the same place/same pouch. Very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

However, because of the way it’s designed, it’s a pain for using as a edc bag when you need to get things quickly and multiple times because you have to unzip alllll the way since there’s only single zippers. Even the second pouch is a full zipper. It’s kind of just flops nearly all the way open which could mean stuff falling out if you’re not careful. If they had put elastic or some sort of cloth that would shutter that gap between the bag and covering there you could just leave it unzipped. It’s a pain in that regard.
