If you are researching this book, or reading this review, you are looking for a successful weight loss and maintenance solution, just like I was and I say, what the heck… give it a try. You've probably tried a lot of other diets that haven't been successful, just as I have. Will this work for you? I don't know. I know it has worked for me and I have diligently followed the program, but am sure I've made mistakes along the way. Still, I have made significant progress and look and feel fantastic! Whether this entire book is steeped in science, I can't say. I'm not a clinician or scientist. What I do know, and has been well documented in the medical community ~ carbs and sugar make most people fat. I also won't lie and say the first few days aren't tough, but they were a lot easier than I originally thought they would be. Get past the first week and your cravings really will go away ~ temptation however never fully goes away and that's where all of us who have weight issues fail, so your success with this really does depend on your diligence to the program. I'm excited to get the maintenance phase and believe wholeheartedly that I will be successful at long-term weight maintenance in that phase as well because I have truly learned to eat for my body.
