The dice themselves have a great heft to them, and roll well. They are by far my new favorite d20 dice.
These die are the pride of my collection, and I went so far as creating a custom wooden box to keep them in. That being said, you definitely are going to need something to keep these bad boys in. A standard die bag is not going to cut it where they're concerned. They would likely bruise and bang each other up and cause dings and dents in the metal.
Also, the one flaw to having these dice is the sad sad results of dropping them. While they are metal, they aren't steel, and are most likely made of pewter or something similar. This means that a good thump onto a hard floor and they're going to get a bruising. Which as many people know, is bad for the D20, as it causes it to roll less true and in the case of my poor D20, to roll 2 and 3 a lot, as it has met with a concrete floor at my friends house where we game a lot, about three or four times. :(
What I would recommend as well, because these bad boys can dent a table, is buying some sort of tray to roll them in, so that you don't have as big of a risk of them falling off the table and meeting an early demise.
Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of these dice. You're getting what you pay for here. Granted they're a good bit higher maintenance that what more people are used to. So I would recommend going down to your local Hobby Lobby, Walmart, or even thrift store craftsman and getting a small sectioned off wooden box to keep them in, or making it yourself.
20 sided die seems to roll a lot of 1s for me and a lot of 20s for monsters, so there may be foul powers at play but that only deserves more stars.
I do wish they came with a nicer storage solution but well worth the price even without.
Like others have said, the dice do not stay in the slots in the package, but since they are pretty heavy duty, there was no damage to them.
