This was perfect for my event and at an awesome price! I was worried about the quality when I saw some poor reviews but if you are a calm adult and open the package with care, you will not have issues. If you want to be an animal and tear the package apart and quickly rip the pieces instead of unrolling them from their packaging, then you may have a problem. I didn't have a single loose shred of gold fall on the floor while I put it up to use as a photobooth background at a prom. (I purchased 4 so I could create a full long photo background, one will not do much besides maybe fill a doorway. It was fantastic. I only lost some gold pieces when people had to move it like a curtain so they could go behind my background to access a closet. If this is their average quality you should not hesitate to order for your next event.

I bought these after reading the reviews. I'd recommend GENTLY unwrapping these to avoid rips and tears of the fringe. I taped it on to a PVC pipe and hung it on the wall of the hall where we had the party. Then used a couple of Command hooks to hang it up. At the end of the party we just took it down and wrapped it around the pipe. Now we can reuse it for a photo booth for our 6 year olds' party next month. There were no tears and its easy to store. To cover the15 foot wall pictured we used 2 silver and 3 blue. We probably could have used another silver but we were still satisfied with the results. The rice on Amazon was a significant savings over Party City

super cute and made my at-home photo booth so fancy!!! I was concerned based on reviews that one strand would be thin and cheap looking so this pack of 3 was perfect!! I slightly layered them, with the middle one overlapping a bit with the two side strands to cover about 8 feet of my wall (plenty of room to get 4-5 people in one pic). it was SO EASY to peal the back off and stick them to the wall, just under the ceiling. due to mississippi humidity, one side of one peeled off the wall after 48 hours but a little masking tape fixed it. I was hoping to reuse for various events but it was a bit difficult to recover the sticky side (the strands got stuck as I took it down and a few ripped as I was unsticking it). Overall they are exactly what I wanted and made our pictures so cute!!!
