I will admit I was a little skeptical when I picked up this book but I am glad that I did stick with it. Right off the bat once I started reading this book I was intrigued. It is very informative and the author explains everything in a very patient and simple manner. My only qualm with this book is that some part are repetitive. I got a lot out of this book as well because I really enjoy reading paranormal fiction and this book has really made me appreciate how much research is often done to make paranormal books more accurate, the explanations in this book really help to get more out of paranormal books. The chapters about The Craft were great and I was fascinated with the Wicca holidays as well. Overall although some parts of the book are repetitive and the pictures could be improved in quality the great information and thoughtful writing are what makes this book a keeper.
