Beautiful, CLEAN floors!

I cannot say enough good things about this cleaner! I am a bit of a neat freak and need my house to be CLEAN so I have high standards. This really does get grime and dirt off wood floors while leaving it looking shiny, conditioned, and beautiful. This isn't a cleaner that makes them look good for a couple hours; they stay great looking until the next time I clean my floors (once a week or every other). Also, there are never streaks, white marks, or sticky residue left behind by this cleaner. It is very easy to use as well. I give the floors a quick once over with a dry microfiber mop first to get dust/debris and then (using a new pad) use the same mop to apply the cleaner. I squirt it directly onto the floor in a zig zag motion. On top of it all it smells wonderful, but not too strong and a little while later you just barely smell a pleasant scent and no chemicals. Have been using for years and will continue. Posted is a pic before and after using this ONE TIME on my hardwood floors on a home built in 1914 with original floors. The floors were already pretty, but they became fabulous after I started using this on them.

Good scent, works great on grime

I got this at target, and am glad I did. The rental we moved into had blackened areas on the wood floor. Id never see. This before and assumed it was from age of the wood. No... It's all coming off. Very glad too because our baby girl will be crawling soon. Also, nice scent. Not overpowering or offensive at all.

My floors look like they've been spit shined! Love this stuff :)

A couple of months ago I came across my first Method product, Lavender all purpose cleaner. Since then, I have decided to try other Method products, like this floor cleaner. I was using Murphy's Oil Soap (Squirt and Spray) on my floors. While that product cleaned my floors, I didn't like that it left a film on my floors and I also was not a fan of the smell. Every time I used Murphy Oil Soap, I felt the need to open up windows (even when it was December in New England) to dissipate the smell.

Anyways - on to Method's wood floor cleaner... I really like this stuff! I use it when I'm steam mopping (ie while I steam mop, I spray this stuff down too) and it makes my floors look BEAUTIFUL!! I love the smell - almond. I can see how some reviewers find it overpowering; however if you think about it - what smell WOULDN'T be overpowering when you're rubbing it over ALL of your floors? Personally - I found the smell to go from overpowering to a very nice linger very quickly (we had guests over about 30 min after I cleaned the floors and they thought I had baked cookies or something).

Another great thing about this floor cleaner is how quickly it dries. The stuff I used to use would take a good 10 minutes to dry. This Method cleaner takes only a minute or 2. This may not seem like much to you, but when you have a 50lb puppy begging for your attention, every minute counts! Oh and that's another thing I like about this stuff - not that I'm a total Save the Environment Crazy Person - but I think it's great that this stuff is made from recycled bottles and is biodegradable and nontoxic.

Great product for everyday cleaning

This Method cleaner leaves my wood tile floors shiny, and I like the scent. It's nice that when I come home after mopping, my apartment smells sweet and almondy, not chemically or soapy as it does when I use other cleaners.

The bottle says that there's no need to use water with this product... Just squeeze it directly onto the floor, and wipe it up. I'm a little confused about how that would work, though. It seems as though it would take forever to clean your house that way, and it would require a lot of product. I just use it with water, as you would with any other mopping soap. I put water in a bucket, squeeze in some of this stuff, splash it on the floor, and then mop it up. If there's any dirt that doesn't come off easily, I squirt some directly onto the spot. I find that it doesn't do an amazing job of cleaning dirt, though. It's more for regular maintenance than for deep cleaning.

SHINY FLOORS and WONDERFUL ALMOND SCENT

Method Naturally derived squirt and mop almond hard floor cleaner smells wonderfully. The scent smells very strong almond -- but not overwhelming. This is like a mop and glow without all the toxic chemicals. Very nice for shining hard wood and tiles -- well those are the two floor surfaces I tried it on. Be careful not to use too much or it will create a situation where the floor is sticky when you walk and you will not be very pleased -- learned this by having it happen to me, so learn from my mistake. Watery consistence as the water is in the product. It is fully diluted so you just squirt and mop it up. I use a microfiber cloth mop to mop it up. I squirt it in a zigzag pattern to make sure everything gets covered -- this way it is in an even application for coverage. Dries quickly.
NEGATIVE
Well, some little ones thought I was baking almond cookies and were highly disappointed to find it was a cleaner they were smelling and there were no almond cookies in the oven being baked as a surprise desert. That is how REAL ALMOND this stuff smells
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
