Product Description

The Mettler Toledo MS4002SDR NewClassic MS delta range precision balance has 0 to 0.82kg and 0.82 to 4.2kg weighing capacities with accuracies of 0.01g and 0.1g (also called readability), a 1.5-second settling time for increased productivity, and a stainless steel corrosion-resistant weighing pan. The internal calibration system automatically calibrates the balance based on the temperature, or at a predetermined time, ensuring consistent, accurate measurements. The below-balance weighing hook suspends bulky items beneath the balance for weighing. This balance is rated to IP54 level of protection against dust and splashing water during use.

The balance has a high-contrast display for readability, weighs in 16 different units and tares over the entire weighing range, and displays in seven different languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, and Czech. The built-in time and date function enables work in compliance with good practices in many industries, including food and pharmaceutical. Three programmable buttons provide shortcut access for routine tasks. RS232 and USB ports are available for easy connection to a printer, computer, or bar code reader. Fixable rear support feet offer stability, so the balance will not tip under eccentric loads, while overload protection prevents damage to the weighing cell and the balance if too-heavy samples are mistakenly used. The high-grade, chemical-resistant, die-cast aluminum housing protects the internal weighing cell from environmental influences and impacts, and reduces the effects of thunderstorms and electromagnetic interference from other equipment that may affect measurement results. A protective cover safeguards the balance during storage.
