There are not drastic differances in funk from different American regions from the time, but there are small gradations. This collection represents Miami funk as extremely taunt, locked grooves. There is no nonsense--not a lot of flurishes or jazzy solos as you may have gotten in the bay area--and there are some latin spices, obviously from the Florida demographic
But that means little. This means more: excellent funk. Buy it.

So, my marks are:
COVER: 10/10! (what an obscure collection could be like..)
MUSIC: 10/10! (Just listen to the 11 track and you'll get the spirit of that music!)
BOOKLET: 9/10! (almost perfect)
Don't hesitate and just buy that product!
