Well, I feel a little odd writing a review about a bidet, but here we go.

Having never used one before, but being married to a man who lived in a country where they are commonplace and who is in love with bidets, I was excited about the product.

My husband was able to install it fairly easily. He had to get a new, flexible hose to attach the water source to the toilet (our apartment came with a steel hose, which wouldn't work). This fix was very easy and very inexpensive; an extra 10 minutes and about $5 at the local hardware store.

Once he got it installed...well, we just waited for Mother Nature to come calling! And when she did, we found we were both pleased with the bidet. Definitely a new sensation, this totally beats out toilet paper cleaning any day (though a little antsy about the first couple of sprays...it certainly is a new feeling, that's for sure).

We also like that it tilts a little, and that there is a wide range of spray strengths you can choose by turning the dial.

Overall, a great purchase, we would definitely highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more hygenic way to cleanse their lower area. You'll never go back to just toilet paper again!

I had used more expensive bidets in europe and enjoyed the clean feeling afterwards. Have always been disappointed there is nothing here in US. So recently after seeing these units that attach to the toilet, decided to buy one. To be honest, the only reason I bought this model was the adjustment feature of the sprayer, and also the price. I am a do-it-yourself kind of person, and found I couldnt even build one of these for the price of the unit. The bidet came before it was suppose to (by 5 days) with super saver shipping. Install quite literally took 5 minutes. No leaks, and fit fine. After several adjustments to the angle of spray, it worked just great. I have only used it about 4 times now, but the sprayer doesn't appear to get dirty, nor get in the way. It has a self clean function where water trickles down over the spray head (which itself only emerges after turning on the water). Spray intensity is more than enough and leaves you feeling clean. I would buy this unit for all our bathrooms if my wife would let me spend the money. :)

Initially impressed with the self cleaning and tilting features so I bought two. Upon installation I had to put some plumber's tape due to a leak in the connection of the supplied clear tube and the supplied valve (attached to the toilet bowl's water supply). Leak resolved! Worked well, did what it was supposed to do. Then the self cleaning feature wont stop "self cleaning". After the bowl was flushed it activated this feature and continued to just waste water endlessly! (the self cleaning feature was supposed to function only when the dial was manually turned clockwise) Initially returned one to Amazon, but the same problem occurred with the other after a couple of days. Hence, two Micca BD7s were returned for a refund. Defective design or was I just unlucky, twice? I will try another brand.

I usually don't write reviews, but this bidet is great. I bought two other bidets, dfferent brands, and they work just fine... but for the price and quality, this one is wonderful! My son installed my other ones, but I installed this one myself. At first installation, it did leak, but please see the pictures and instructions on the three-piece attachment to the fittings. Once I screwed that on tight, no more leaks... I knew that it may leak because I remembered other people talking about it, but it really is just an installation issue and not a defect. My other two bidets were 80 and 89 dollars. This one was 53 dollars including tax (no tax) and shipping. I think it works better than the other ones I recently purchased, and I love the tilting and self-cleaning nozzle. Having a tilting (or adjustable) sprayer makes it unnessary to have two sprayers.... (one for the B and one for the P). hehe... Anyway, please don't hesitate to buy this product. Just please look at the amazon pictures and install accordingly.

Happy clean self!!!!

Oh, yeah... Until I got my other two bidets, I never even thought about owning one. Once I possessed one, I couldn't do without. The last one that I purchased (which is this one) was for my little place in FL, because I had them in my house in OH and I missed the cleanness that a bidet provides...

I'm going to get them for my sons and my parents for Christmas presents, because they love mine... Good gift idea... Sounds weird, but it's really a very nice creature comfort!!!

Thanks for reading my first review and again, please don't hesitate one second to purchase this product!!!

Saves tremendously on the trees, too... Waaay less toilet paper... Just a drying factor with a bidet...

I do not usually write reviews but find myself in the position of having both of these similar units. Both are acceptable and perform as expected.

Ease of Installation:
MB110- All items provided and easy for the handy person to install. A few more tools needed than stated.

BD7- Installs almost identical to the MB110 but a bit different hose hook up to the bidet. A problem with this unit is they do not provide a flexible hose for the supply to the tank as does the MB110. So, if you have a solid tube supplying water to your toilet tank, you will have problems fitting things together.

Adjusting:

MB110- While it has slots and numerous ways that the bidet can be attached under the toilet seat, I found that the overall adjust ability to be lacking.

BD-7- This bidet has a tilting mechanism that allows for more adjust ability. The unit seems to also have a greater range of adjustment when mounting to the toilet. This is all important as you either adjust your position on the seat or you adjust the position of bidet (hence the nozzle)

Use:

MB110- Once adjusted correctly, you have to move your body to clean areas not in the direct aim of the water stream. Can be easily done, but does require that ability (some disabled or limited ability persons may have difficulty)

BD7- The added feature of a tilting nozzle provides more flexibility without moving your body around. The tilting nozzle may more user friendly for female users and it also helps with a scrubbing action when you move it back and forth.

Conclusion: Both units seem to be well built (for the price)
Be prepared to purchase a flexible hose to supply your toilet tank if you purchase a Micca BD7. (that is if you do not already have one there)

Again both units are acceptable but I prefer the Micca BD7 due to the tilting nozzle and the presence of more adjustments for mounting.
