Michael Baroff is a learning and organizational development consultant, facilitator and coach with over 30 years experience serving a wide-range of business, government and nonprofit organizations. He served as an adjunct consultant with the State of California Employment Training Network (ETN) providing staff development and technical assistance to agencies receiving Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funding and with the Graduate School USA serving the organizational development needs of federal, state and local government agencies. Michael is a former President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Talent Development (ATD), previous known as the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), and served on the boards of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association (PCMA), International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) and as Chair of the Westside Economic Collaborative Workforce Development Committee. He has taught at UCLA Extension Department of Business and Management, Santa Monica College Office of Workforce and Economic Development, and the Esalen Institute. Michael has developed mentoring programs with BizLink Welfare to Work and the Job Corps Center and coached individuals to ensure job placement success, new hire retention and career advancement.
