Given TBSR's penchant for irony, at times I did wonder if I were not actually reading a send-up. Even so, his examination of the Bay corpus was vastly enjoyable and added to my established affection for Bay's body of work.
Minus one star because I constantly found typos in the text. Sometimes it seemed like the book wasn't proofread before print.
