Delivers superior performance on both dry and muddy terrain. Tread blocks have been optimally arranged to provide the best balance between grip, rider output, and self-cleaning capability without sacrificing performance in one area or another.

Since both these are new, I can't say whether the Advanced compound will wear better. But the 2.0 is a bit narrow for me, now that I've ridden it some. I just prefer more rubber on the trail. Mostly I'm riding in the Pacific NW, in forests, so the trail is generally quite tractable "All Mountain" terrain. Roots, rocks, and small 1-3 ft drops. And of coruse, some wet riding at times, though in summer, it gets quite dry.
This WildGrip'R2, the non-Advanced, in 2.25, has a tread pattern and width I like, but theoretically at least, may not last as long as the Advanced version.
Of course, front tires tend to wear slower than rear tires, but I've put the Advanced 2.0 on the front, mostly because it's narrow, and the "normal" compound 2.25 WildGrip'R2 on the rear.
Would love to see Michelin make the Advanced in a 2.25!
We'll see how they do..

Second the bead was too small. I was concerned I might break my tools getting it on the rim.Read more
