    This will be one of the simplest reviews I've ever written. I needed an adapter to be able to plug a micro USB device into a full sized USB port. I found this on Amazon and bought it. It works!

    To elaborate a bit, it's cheap and it feels it, but I've never had an issue with it and have used this extensively on a few different devices since purchasing it. It does exactly what it is supposed to and I have no complaints. If you need this kind of adapter, this one seems like a safe bet.

    the way i have this set up is like this.
    i have a phone plug with an otg usb cable {my phone does not provide power for other attached usb devices therefore i'm using a usb y cable for this set to work} on one side of the y usb cable i have plug an usb hub to attached devices to my phone,on the other side of the y usb cable for the power i'm using a standard phone charger{.............one side is a regular A usb male to a micro usb male.....}.

    now this is the part that actually refers to how this works. the micro usb charger cable is plug to the 'adapter micro usb female to an A usb male' the A usb male side is plug into a ''usb gender changer'' {which is a standard A female usb to A female usb}
    >>>>>>>>>there is also a male to male gender cnanger version but i'm not using that for this set up<<<<<<<< the other side of the usb gender changer is plug into the y usb male plug for charging the phone, then the usb y cable is plug into the otg usb, then the otg usb cable is plugged to the phone ............. after all this i can confirm that this adapter works and charges my phone.

    i don't know what other uses you could use this adapter for, but the main thing of this review is to let everyone know that this adapter works if anyone finds any other uses for this please reply to this review and let me know what other uses you are using or giving this adapter thanks.

    p.s. it took about 3 to 4 weeks to arrive so you better be patient!

    I bought this adapter to go with another adapter so that I could use a keyboard that is in a case I bought for my Samsung tablet. Unfortunately it did not let the keyboard work - but not because of this adapter.

    I think it doesnt work either because of the other adapter or just because of the tablet. However, I wanted this adapter anyway because I can use it on my cellphone and use with a USB flash drive to download pictures off my phone so I will definitely use it.

    I needed to use flash drives with microusb male connectors on standard USB ports. I also had a microusb network adapter with the same requirement. Neither of these worked. I tried on multiple devices (PCs, MACs, android device). On my PC I received a malfunctioning power overdraw message. Fortunately it did not appear to damage my accessories.
    NOT RECOMMENDED. Also was ineligible for return but Amazon was able to refund me (presumably because it was a very small amount)

    I wanted to leave the full USB adapter pigtail plugged into my tablet and charge through a standard USB socket, but this is not how OTG works- dumb me.
    Can't plug my iPhone to sync on the tablet either. Why not a 2nd barrel socket on the tablet!!!!
