Not Concentrated Like Typical Monk Fruit-Disgusting-Grainy
I have been using monk fruit for years. It is usually a very fine powder, and 1/32 of a teaspoon should be the equivalent of 1t of regular sugar. THIS monk fruit is NOT concentrated like anything I have used before. It comes with a huge scoop (the larger spoon in the pictures), and the product is very grainy. I only use two scoops of the tiny scoop for my tea (with other products), but this product required three of the LARGE scoops to achieve the equivalent sweetness. By the time you use that much, the burnt, rich taste of the monk fruit completely overpowers whatever you put it in, ruining the flavor. It also leaves a disgusting aftertaste in your mouth. Ironically, I bought this product because you get four times the quantity for the same price as other brands. BUT you also have to use more than four times the quantity of the product to get the sweetness you want. I carefully checked the ingredients, and it says it is only "monk fruit extract", so I can only deduce that there are different concentrations of the extract, and this one is not as concentrated as most. I highly recommend the "It's Just Monkfruit" brand; I will never buy this brand again, and I do not recommend you waste your money on it. It is a poor value for your money.

I'm so pleased to get 100% pure monk fruit, it is difficult to find. Most often I find it mixed with erythritol and I can't have that. It has a tiny taste of brown sugar to me. It is a very fine powder. So far I've used it in my coffee and on my grapefruit. It has a bit of a bitter after taste but it is zero calories and doesn't affect insulin levels. I prefer it over stevia by far. Organic too! I think it's a bit expensive and would like to see a lower price from someone offering the same quality product. Until then I will stick with this because other than the price, I am pleased.

I was reading some of the reviews and found that several people gave bad ratings based on sweetness. Monk Fruit isn’t sugar. If you have a sugar attachment, you’ll be disappointed.
I don’t have a dysfunctional relationship with sugar as I don’t consume it anywhere in my diet and am NOT insulin resistant.
I find this product sweet and very affordable. I use it in my Flaxseed bread and coconut flour pancakes. A little goes a long way!!!

I'm a first-time buyer of monk fruit extract. I think it is good in strong flavored drink like coffee, but not for something like macha. There is a distinct taste to this. I find myself reaching for stevia more.

This tastes really good. This the third batch I’ve purchased. It doesn’t seem to be extracted with any odd chemical.

I’ve had others where you only need a pinch and it’s sweet? But it you can taste whatever chemical that’s used to extract it.

I was buying this brand for awhile with no complaints. It was exactly as I expected, sweet with very little needed to achieve the level of sweetness I needed. The color was typical for thi product no matter the source; a beige to tan color. That product deserved 5 stars. But that changed and the change was quite obvious to the naked eye. I started to receive packets with brown product inside. The sweetness level went wayyyyy down and I needed to use LOTS more product. I'd guesstimate at least 10 times more and it still wasn't as sweet as the 2 level scoops (a tiny scoop at that!) that I'd been using. I figured "OK so I got a bad batch. Just use it up and move on.". But I had 2 more packets on the shelf and each one was brown and not very sweet. They'd been shipping that garbage for some time. That product deserves no stars but that's not possible. I used up all those packets and simply changed brands. The new brand is the Monk fruit sweetener I expect.

The change in product of this brand was very noticeable yet they never caught it and instead shipped it out. Hey folks, you're selling items that gets ingested... Wake up! It could just as easily have poisoned people. I think what happened was the dryer got set to a temperature that was too high for some reason and it degraded or burned the product. But still, minor? NO! It's food, wake up!

Would I buy this brand again? No way! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the 5 stars it went from to the zero stars I couldn't give it. It's an average.

I find that this is not very sweet. Maybe it is because it is only monk fruit, and does not have erythritol mixed in. According to the package, the provided scoop is one serving, so I used one scoop in 8 oz of coffee. There was barely any sweetness to it at all. And with a serving being $0.22, it seems to be rather expensive for what you are getting. I tried Durelife Organic 100% Pure Monk Fruit sweetener in a side by side taste test, and I will definitely be getting more of the Durelife. There was a definite sweetness to it.

It is less sweeter than a previous brand I used to purchase. Reassuring to have an organic product and it is comforting to have a zero calorie sweetener. I like the no fuss packing and it reseals very well.
