I needed some tiny servos for automating a camera shutter release. These were ideal. I used with Arduino Uno board to trip the shutter, using a 3D printed mount for the hot shoe on the camera. I created a 3D printed arm to go on the servo for pressing the shutter release. The servo had plenty of power to do the job and the angle of rotation was easily adjusted with the Arduino program.

works, but do not expect 180° when used with standard RC equipment

The good: I received my order promptly & all 5 worked when connected to a FS-iA6B receiver paired with a FS-i6X transmitter (both FlySky)

The not so good: Although the long product description describes the servos as being capable of 180° range of motion (i.e. 90° +/- from centered), when used with the above equipment the full range of controlled movement was closer to 90° (i.e. 45° +/- from centered).

The internal components of the servo do indeed allow 180° movement when manually manipulated & it is possible that when used with something like an Arduino you could write code that would specify a wider of PWM pulse lengths to extend the usable range of motion. I believe this would require expanding the pulse length range at both ends by 500 microseconds (i.e using a range of 500 - 2500 microseconds to get the described range of motion rather than the standard 1000 - 2000 microseconds typically associated with RC equipment). Since the FlySky transmitter can only stretch the standard upper & lower bounds by 20%, I cannot get the full range of motion described.

I will use them in applications where I only need a range of motion of 90° or less.

Two servos broke down within a week!

I made a automatic laser pointer for my cats with 2/5 servos, and it held up the first couple weeks not being used but maybe 25% of the time, switched the battery after a couple days of not being used and both servos are catching and hard to rotate, not working well at all. At this rate ill be buying new servos every couple months, maybe next time, I'll spend a little more.
