I've been using this card adapter for one month. I went to insert it into a card reader and to my surprise the adapter buckled. The plastic cracked in two different places and separated on itself! It's extremely flimsy in design.

When it worked it was great, but this was clearly not designed to last.

EDIT: I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 based on Judy2018 who is clearly shilling for this product and appears intent on discrediting people who are posting their honest reviews.

I bought this for my old PSP along with 2 Sandisk 64GB Micro SD Cards to make it a total of 128GB of storage. But i put both Micro SD Cards in both slots, it doesn't show the total of 128GB, it only shows 60GB. I took photos with my PSP just to do some testing and when i switch out both Micro SD Cards in both different slots, it didn't show the photos and shows 61GB of storage. So in conclusion - The storage capacity doesn't stack up with this unique Memory Stick, you actually have to switch both Micro SD Cards in different slots to use the Micro SD that you wanna use for your PSP. Which it's a little bit of an unnecessary hassle for Me...

Plus, when handling this unique Memory Stick, you have to be very careful with it. Since it can break easily.
So yea, this product shouldn't even be worth around 10$, i would make it at least around 5$ in all fairness.

I did try it out with 2 old cards but probably I won't be removing the sd cards from this adapter anymore.

These kind of adapters share a common issue, which is that once you format them, you can't use the SD cards anymore, if you take them out of the adapter. Happened with my first one, did happen with this too. No matter how you try; the card is not recognized neither by windows nor OSX, so you can't re-format it. The only thing I didn't try is to low lever format it with a terminal application; but seems rather extreme.

Other than that; the plastic is so thin that you can break it while breathing on it; so unless you need to have 2 SD cards, I would rather suggest the single SD card adapter

Guess I got unlucky and received a faulty one, the adapter hasn't functioned at all and the metal plating where it connects is noticeably loose.

Update: As returns for this item aren't accepted I decided to pick open the case and look at the chip. One of the pins to connect to one of the micro SD cards was not bent up to connect like the rest of them were. so I manually bent it up with a jewelers tool, stuck the chip back into the now broken case, and using nothing but the actual slot of my PSP to hold it all together, reinserted the adapter and micro SDs into my PSP and it seems to function now. Still had to break it and fix it myself (to the extent that I can, the case is done, and probably unreliable at holding the pieces in place now because of it) however this will function well enough until I can get a replacement adapter that won't fall to pieces the moment I take it out.

The black duo pro micro sd card adapter is the better quality compared to the this white one... PSP doesn't recognize it so don't waste your money. The quality is worse too, paper thin plastic ready to break in an instant. Save your $6 on a Happy Meal or something but not this...

I bought mine from XOXO Mobile. Several of the reviews mention that the adapter is flimsy, but it's important to remember that it is mostly hollow since it holds two memory cards. I was able to push the card into my PSP with my thumbnail without issue. Maybe if you take it in and out repeatedly it could cause damage but for my use there is really no reason to do that. I put a 32GB class 10 Sandisk microSD in the top slot (or the slot closest to the end that goes in first) and left the other slot open to future upgrades. I formatted it in my PSP and everything went smoothly. The card showed 29GB free after format, but that's to be expected since capacities have been this way forever. The manufacturers measure in Megabytes (a kilobyte = 1000 bytes) and computers use Mib of Mebibytes (<my spelling may be off> a kilobyte = 1024 bytes) so the formatted capacity will always be smaller than the reported manufacturer capacity. I fired up my copy of Lumines that I backed up from my physical UMD and it played great. I can't wait to get my second card.

It works basically how you would expect. I have a 32GB Samsung Micro SD card in it and it works great. Going 64GB or higher does not work very well, if it all, so be aware of that. I also don't use two cards, so I can't say if mixing and matching SD cards works well. Just something to keep in mind.

Some other reviewers have noted how the card has bent or snapped, but I haven't had that issue. Then again, I don't constantly remove and insert the card into my PSP, so perhaps that may be part of it. As long as you're not too aggressive with it, I'm sure it will last a while. You may also need to format your micro SD card on your computer first, so keep that in mind as well. Overall, good product that's affordable.
