I got it working, and I am happy with it so far. I am capturing video from a camera. I had some trouble at first. It seems the USB cable I was using doesn't work for this purpose, or the USB-C port on the computer doesn't provide enough power. The documentation is very sparse and doesn't say anything about power. There is no power adapter or place to plug one it. It must be getting power from the USB port.

It works fine it's a good alternative to some of the higher-end capture cards just without any of the bells and whistles worked great for what I needed it for which was from my PS4 to my PC and obs. One thing I do think should be improved on or to keep in mind is that the cord that attaches the capture card to your computer is extremely short and if you are planning on accessing it often I recommend getting a longer USB cord otherwise if you plan on just plugging it in and leaving it in the cord it comes with should be fine. I also wish that there was an audio input Port that was a USB rather than an auxiliary port because my mic has a USB end rather than an auxiliary and so I was not able to use my mic for in-game chat I had to prioritize My stream chat and if it came with a USB audio input Port I would have been able to do both the same time

Bought this just to have audio on my PC and to stream to discord with my friends, so it's not a huge deal. However, even setting it up how the manufacturer describes, it will only do about 30 FPS when outputting1080p video. If you change the resolution in OBS to 720p, it'll have smoother video. Keep in mind when buying, as its not exactly as advertised. The product otherwise works as it should.

EDIT: Support has been extremely helpful and worked with me to try and fix the issue. They ended up sending me a newer version of their capture cards for free, but the original problem still was never fixed. They offered me a full refund without needing to send back anything. Buyer beware about the actual quality of the product itself, but their support system deserves praise nonetheless.

I purchased this capture card and it worked great, at first. By the end of the first month having it it was overheating and the audio capture component failed.

I wrote a bad review and the seller reached out to me to replace it. They sent me a new one and just like the first one it works great.

My only issue with this product is that it seems to overheat if left plugged in to the computer I'm capturing it on. I'm unplugging it after every use. It would also be nice if the device could pass through the HDMI signal even when not plugged in to the computer, but that's just a minor issue.

I recommend this, but make sure you keep it unplugged when not in use.

The quality is as promised, I've been enjoying its ease of use, but I think what someone else mentioned about audio issues is right; Just a few days ago it's developed a quiet but really quite noticeable and frustrating ringing sound in the right channel. I'm rather displeased about that, but the visual quality itself is very much appreciable.
What's less appreciable is the framerate; This is advertised as doing 60FPS at 1080p. I have now put it through 720p and it still barely ever manages to keep 60FPS, let alone 1080p which is regularly 30 and below. This is well below advertised, and if I'd known it would perform like this I would have purchased a different card. However this could also be down to good 'ol fashioned, "Luck of the draw." It's possible other cards may not have my same issue.

I ended up requesting a refund, however support were very helpful and active; While the framerate was a no-go for me, support may for once actually be good enough here to be worth contacting. My issue wasn't really fixable, but support certainly did their best! As a result, for its price; While it may have issues, support may be active enough here to help you through them!
