Good Product.. if Microsoft Recognizes the Subscription

Does not work with my 365 Subscription I purchased one year ago here . It was a purchase made exactly as last year that worked. This Version is not being credited for service extension by Microsoft though Amazon has it as a False One year extension.. Hence reminders from Microsoft of Subscription Expiration next week.. Good Product.... Lousy Back End.. will have to Buy from Microsoft AGAIN.. Purchasing twice for 1 year is Not a good Purchase..

Warning: Multiple subscriptions run concurrent to each other!

Don't make the same mistake I made and purchase this subscription twice thinking you'll receive a two year subscription. Activating another subscription of microsoft 365 via amazon will have both subscriptions running concurrently.... and expiring concurrently. If your subscription is still active, I would recommend not activating the code until your currently subscription ends, for the same reason. This caused a major headache and multiple hours were wasted with Microsoft and Amazon support to get this sorted (both couldn't help and a refund of one was eventually issued).

BE WARNED! Does not stack with existing service!

For several years now I have been in the habit of purchasing an additional year of Office 365 when they are on sale, and just adding it to my existing account to stack on my existing subscription. THIS PRODUCT WILL NOT DO THAT! Purchase of this product requires that Amazon be given access to "manage" your O365 account, and cannot be done if any other retailer is already "managing" it. I was unknowingly switched to having Best Buy manage my account, so when I purchased this one through Amazon, it told me the product could not be activated on my account until the existing subscription expired (2+ years away). So while Microsoft has always allowed you to stack up to 5 years of service on your account, you cannot do that from different retailers any more. Seems the keywords here are "subscription with Auto-Renewal", because it's that Auto-renewal that becomes managed by the retailer instead of Microsoft. >:-( I have seen reports from others online that if you purchase multiple years from Amazon they are required to run concurrently, not stacked (haven't experienced that personally though).

At least Amazon support was able to cancel this order for me relatively painlessly.

I already had time left on my Office subscription with MS....purchasing this wipes out any months you had left with MS with no refund whatsoever !! Total scam...I just lost $99 of Office....theres no return button so you are locked in too. AMAZON you suck take this down immediately.

A great deal for Microsoft (Office...) 365 Family users.

If you already use MS Office 365 (or plan to) why not spend $50 (net) for a year instead of $100?
Have never been a fan of Subscription Software - other than Anti-Malware, where the need for Constant Updates makes an annual fee reasonable - and you can certainly find MS Office alternatives or just keep running an older copy of the applications.

We moved to Office 365 a few years ago because we wanted a Cloud Back-up Service & it turned out that Microsoft's Cloud Back-up was VERY Price Competitive - and Oh, by the way, Just Happened to come with a "Free" copy of the MS Office Suite of applications. In fact, IF you make Good use of OneDrive, it may well be a better deal for an INDIVIDUAL to purchase the "Family" version of MS 365 over the Individual version - simply for the added Cloud storage space. (Admittedly it is Less Convenient to try to juggle 2 or 3 1TB Cloud accounts than it would be if they were a Single space....)

And YES you can use this to Extend an existing MS Office 365 subscription. (Redeem the software code from within your Office account, as opposed to "Activating" the license from Amazon's web site.)
