Likes:
- the design; very comfortable, easy to type on
- the controls; all of the buttons work well with my Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet and my Galaxy Note 3 phone, as well as my work-issued Dell Latitude 10 st2
- setup; first time setup was a breeze; easy to connect to each device for the first time
Dislikes:
- Does not remember the pairing to any device! (same as Gary from a previous Amazon review)
First time setup for each device was easy. However, pairing back from one device to another is my issue. It would not automatically pair back with Device 1 when pressing that button. I would have to open my Bluetooth settings, UNPAIR the device first, then pair it again to get the 6-digit key. Same with Device 2. After much experimenting, this is the only way to use this keyboard. Simply pressing on the keyboard's name in the bluetooth settings will tell me that the device is unable to communicate with the keyboard. So it was necessary to unpair then pair again to get the 6-digit key. Needless to say, switching between devices was irritating and not seamless at all.
- Re-pairing devices
So having to re-pair the device, I'd have to repeat the first time setup procedure (holding the Device 1 or 2 button for 3 secs to get the blinking light to switch the OS). It would take me quite a while to get this done, as the keyboard would not seem to register that I'm trying to pair to a device again. I would just have to keep trying until I got lucky.
I really like this keyboard, but the one reason that I bought it (easy pairing between 2 devices) is the one thing that does not work.
**NOTE: To Pair, make sure you hit 'ENTER' after entering the code. Thanks to other reviews on here for this info.
In all seriousness, it is a very welcome addition to the available hardware for mobile productivity. The material that the Universal Foldable Keyboard is made out of is a bit reminiscent of that material that the iPad Smart Covers are made out of. This is not meant to be an unflattering comparison. It's got a pleasant feel against skin, and it's very easy to tell what it is inside your bag without having to look.
The 'hinge' holding it closed is a magnet, which rather ingeniously also serves as the on/off switch. When the keyboard is unfolded, it will power on. When collapsed, the device will turn off. When open, the Micro-USB plug on the far right side of the keyboard is used for charging. I haven't found the end of the battery yet, but I charge it for a couple hours each week. When collapsed, it takes up little enough room that it fits in the back pocket of my grid organizer.
One great feature that places this device head and shoulders above its contemporaries is the ability to effortlessly switch back and forth between two devices. It's really handy when you get to try it. You'll be typing up a document on your iPad and then get a text message. You don't even have to pick up the phone. Just press the appropriate function key and the keyboard changes over.
The split keyboard is a little bit of a learning curve, but it's not something that's bothered me about the keyboard. I've included size comparisons in the attached images. I think that the keys are sufficiently sized that you don't end up hitting the wrong key because of crowding. Tactile sensation is roughly similar to a better laptop keyboard, with enough travel in the keys that you can type by touch.
After years of being frustrated with Microsoft's operating systems, this is really a breath of fresh air.

This keyboard folds up to almost nothihng, has WONDERFUL keys (stroke depth, feedback) for a high speed touch typist, battery life measured in months between charges, pairs quickly and effortlessly.
I took me forever to find this keyboard because my Amazon searches never brought it up. I didn’t know it existed. I just saw it in a video review of different keyboards and had to do a direct Amazon search for it.
I absolutely love this thing. Definitely one of the best overall keybords I’ve used in decades. I’m extremely fast on it and it doesn’t make my fingers hurt.
I do not like Microsoft, but I have to admit, their peripherals have always been of the highest. quality.

PROS:
- Extremely thin when folded. Looks like a very think book. Looks great open or closed on your desk.
- Lays flat when open! Many centre-hinged foldable keyboards do not lay perfectly flat. And that drives me crazy.
- Turns on/off simply by opening and closing the keyboard. This is great. No fiddling with power switches!
- Pairs with two devices. This is innovative and so useful! I pair it with my iPad and iPhone. Pressing a key switches between the two instantly. Genius.
- Not bad key feel. For such a thin keyboard, the key travel is as good (if not better) than that of my Dell XPS 15 (which uses the new low-travel keys, like the new Macbook, that I dislike).
CONS:
- Keys are a bit tight, but not too bad. I keep hitting Caps Lock by accident. The weird key placement caused by the center spit didn't affect me. But you do get used to it after only a couple of hours.
- The covers (when folded) always looks dirty, as it picks up gunk from the surface of your desk. But it's easy to wipe off.
- It's a bit pricey--I would've really hesitated paying the $99 regular price. At $75, it's an easier buy for sure.
This keyboard is also supposed to be spill resistant, but I didn't test that. Overall, this keyboard exudes a feel of quality that you do not get with cheaper China keyboards for Aliexpress or elsewhere.

It also connects to two devices, for either Windows, Android, or Apple devices. It has working keyboard shortcuts for both Windows and Apple (haven't tested Android).
There was a slight adjustment period as there is an empty space at the fold dividing the keyboard in half, but I'm able to type just as fast as I could on my other keyboards within a couple hours of using it.
The only downside is that there isn't a light to tell you the battery level and when it's fully charged when plugged in. When I first received it, I had to charge it for a couple hours to have it charged completely, but the battery is supposed to last for 6 months before needing a re-charge.
