I have been a Windows hater since Windows 95. I have generally stayed away being a Linux and Unix user by choice. But I think that MS is getting it right here. They have definitely drawn "Inspiration" from the competition while leveraging their legacy advantages. In this case I say that is a good thing.

I held back a star because the transition to the new interface is still unfinished. There are signs of the old control panel and such still lingering, but it will take time to replace all of the old ways with the new. And for now it's pretty great. I am using Windows 11 Pro on several systems and am glad to do so.

I obviously have no gripe with Microsoft or Windows but taking a star off as this was sold by TripleNetPricing. I don't have anything good to say about the vendor and they used Fedex which is okay but DHL is the best. No complaints but going forward, will try not to buy anything from TNP (prices are unreasonable and they seem to have more negative reviews, not just here on Amazon; google it, there are entire reddit threads). This doesn't mean TNP cannot become better, we all can redeem ourselves. For now, I am unimpressed. However the Amazon experience is nice.

It's Windows, I preferred the square corners of 10 over the rounded corners of 11, but at the very least they do give the option to put the start button in the bottom left where it belongs. More or less forced to use it because Microsoft stopped selling 10, and I'm not ready for Linux as a daily driver.

I wasn't particularly interested in upgrading from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro. I had heard some negative things about Win11, and I was perfectly happy with Win10 Pro. However, when I built a new desktop computer, I decided to add Win11 Pro to my new system. I haven't noticed anything that would make me miss using Windows 10 Pro. My computer works fine and I'm glad I did purchase Windows 11 Pro.

I know there is a ton of bad press about Windows 11, but it actully a nice OS without the baggage that Windows 10 had that most it wasn't needed. I found that the problems most of the people were complaining about were the ones that did the Free Upgrade. Some of the negatives that people were giving Windows 11 were actully things that I didn't like in Windows 10. I like having a very simple and clean OS without having a ton of addons that are quite useless too me.

Also, before buying this product. I stongly suggest looking at Microsofts website to confirm that your computer or your next computer build will be good to go with Windows 11. They have a list of CPUs that are verified for Windows 11.

Overall
Learning Curve - Little above average to above average only because of the changes to the layout of the OS.
Installation - If you use a USB 3.0 port. Very fast, but then again. This may vary depending on the computer itself. Warning: USB might be hot after install.

This is a fake. They actually give you a key for windows 8 and just tell you to download the software from Microsoft. Already reported the keys to Microsoft and these will not work anymore.
