Illegal Software! Do not Purchase from this seller.

I made the mistake or purchasing 6 copies from this seller. 2 of them do not have a valid Product Key Codes. These are all sealed/wrapped and look like the one I have purchased directly from Microsoft.The main difference is that during registration I can't finish my install. When installing any OS this is not what you want to deal with but when installing in a series it is an even bigger pain.

I just spent that last hour plus with Microsoft tech support. They have confirmed the codes are INVALID. They are all ready in use and better yet fall under a volume license code. This seller either directly or indirectly has repackage this software illegally. When purchasing these I assumed it was legit, the pricing was the same as making the purchase through MS website, never again. What a horrible waste of time.

Buying software should not be a crap shoot. Companies that resell software on what is an illegal basis should be dealt with. Your time is worth more than this and for the price of the OS there should never be a question of "Will it work?".

To the seller, If I could rate you lower I would. Report you I will. Prove me wrong, refund my money!

Windows 10 is Almost a Must with Intel 100 Series Chipsets

I've been using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit for about a year and a half. Overall it's a good OS. I was not planning on getting it when I did. I was running my system with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit for several years. I was planning to continue using Windows 7 when I upgraded my computer to the Intel 100 series chipset. I learned the hard way that Windows 7 and the Intel 100 series chipset do not play nice together. Certain drivers that were native to prior chipsets have been remove, and those drivers are now in Windows 10. So if you want to install Windows 7 on a 100 series chipset you have to play around with doing a driver injection or making a special boot disk. I tried both, and after installing Windows 7 the 100 series chipset system never worked right. Key things like Microsoft Aero would not work. So I went and got Windows 10 Pro. It installed with no problems on the 100 series chipset. At first, I preferred Windows 7 Ultimate, but as they continued to improve Windows 10 with updates it got better. Windows 10 is more memory efficient with the RAM too. Overall, I have come to like Windows 10 Pro. But if you are buying a system with an Intel 100 series or higher chipset, you will want to save yourself a lot of headaches and go with Windows 10.

like hologram on the drive

This Microsoft usb drive, can not be activated. I have done every thing possible to get it to work right. Microsoft says that it is a copy not a real retail version.
I put it on an old laptop just to see if it was going to work. Had problems from the very start, trying to install on my other computers.
I finally got it installed an updated just to find out that the code send with this product was not from Microsoft, but a pasted on over the original code.
Everything about this USB drive does not match what Microsoft says need to be, like hologram on the drive.
I did not install this because in the beginning it would install on my desktop. I just thought I would wait till I bought new parts to built another.
Now it on my computer but most of the stuff will not work, like the keyboard, when searching in the box.
It would be nice if you would sent me the right key for this program.
Or I have no choice but to let Microsoft and Amazon know that I was sold a copy of windows, and not the original product.

The thumb drive from this (sealed) Windows 10 Retail package would not boot. The BIOS gave me an error that the boot image was corrupted. When I examined the drive contents on another PC, I could see that the name of one of the folders was not spelled correctly, and other folders had garbage characters in their names. Was this a legit Microsoft product? When I contacted Seller, Seller responded that I should download an ISO from Microsoft's website and burn my own boot media. The only reason Seller is getting any stars from me is that the registration code worked and I was able to activate the license.

Yes it worked, eventually. The thumb drive they sent was useless. I ended up having to make my own using my own thumb drive. I just needed the key which was on a business card in the box. That could have been emailed. The whole reason I went with this was that It is the full retail version so It is transferable.

I had to fight for several hours before giving up and downloading a free ISO copy from Microsofts website. After that I used the provided code and it worked fine. Sad that the I closed thumb drive is a flimsy cheap little thing.

Everything went well on installation, entered product key on start-up. Later as trying to adjust some setting, said product key was "used" when I went to register in Microsoft. Now I have to buy another "pro" license, not cheap.
I have not used my new computer build all bought through Amazon, hardware no issues, problem is in the operation software.
Hopefully the seller will read this and respond hopefully make contact and take care of the issue at hand.

It did what I needed it to do, install windows, sort of. First it wouldn't start up unless I put the Bios in Legacy mode, MBR. I lost touch screen after the install. No sound, network or any other drivers including the mouse keypad. Fortunately I have a non boot-able Windows file on an external hard drive that allowed me to install the things I needed (inside Windows this flash drive had no drivers). But many won't have that so it loses a couple stars because of it. Probably should lose more. Would not recommend. And for $140 it fails.
