This controller has vibrations in the triggers. It feels weird because I normally don't feel them while I'm using the controller on my PC. Imagine my surprise when I felt the controller triggers vibrating while I was playing Forza 6 on my PC. The impulse triggers work for that game on Windows 10. I hope to see this work on Halo for pc as well.
**UPDATE**
Apparently there is a technique into using the Xbox controller properly, a simple search on YouTube will show you how. In summary, you hold the controller in your hands resting both left and right index fingers on top of the the left and right triggers and keep them there while playing. Once you need to push Left bumper or Right Bumper, simply SLIDE your index finger over to it. This takes a bit of effort to get use to. I'm still sticking to my 4/5 rating.
Also, the rumbles in the triggers are working but not for PC games. The rumbles in the trigger only work when connected to Xbox One it seems.
**UPDATE**
Should you buy it?
Hmmm, if you have a 360 controller already and nothing is wrong with it, then short answer; Nah!
If you don't have a 360 controller, then I would definitely recommend this one as the one to buy!
Nothing is wrong with my 360 controller that I still got hooked up to my PC from ancient times, but my friend has a Xbox One with One Controller to only play single player games. Finally I got both the 360 controller and Xbox One Controller plugged in my PC, tried them both for a few hours and here are my thoughts so far.
Now, this controller I can easily say looks and feels great in my hands. Yes it is lighter than the 360 controller, and yes the D-pad feels a lot better to use. Here's the thing, the right and left bumpers do feel different, feels like clicking a mouse button. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH HOW YOU PRESS THEM AS THEY WILL BREAK!!!!!!!! The triggers are a lot better to press this time around. The VERY good thing about it is now I can go over my friend's home and with 2x AA batteries, I simply hold down the Wi-Fi button on the controller and IT PICKS UP FOR HIS XBOX ONE!!!! Yay!
That's where the differences stop. This is the same Xbox 360 controller folks which is a very good thing. [Though it would be cool if I could use it to turn on my PC].
One more thing; for some of the games I play on the PC, the games will lean more on the 360 controller as the default controller when I want to use the Xbox One controller. Maybe it's because both controllers are plugged in at the same time. I hope I can fix that soon or my PC is trying to tell me something.
**UPDATE: I got it to work now however, I have been warned to be very careful on how I press the left and right bumpers as they are easy to break. Yikes!
*UPDATE*
Xbox One Controller not working properly after Windows 10 Upgrade FIXED
my Xbox One controller is having a problem with this game. it is like a button is being perminatly pushed. Used to work fine on windows 8.
also having the same issue with Oddworld
**fixed**
Hi all
I have managed to resolve the issue for me on my computer.
With the controller plugged in go to your device manager.
at the bottom the is a Xbox Peripherals container.
On my PC the controller listed was listed as Xbox Controller
I right clicked on this and clicked update Driver Software, then browse for driver and then pick from a list.
My PC had 4 listed in the compatible hardware
Microsoft Xbox One Controller
Xbox Controller
Xbox Gaming Device Version 10.x
Xbox Gaming Device Version 6.2.x
I selected xbox one controller and this seems to have done the trick.

The box mine came in was dirty and dusty. But inside the controller was fine. It was also colored orange, which surprised me. But I'm alright with that.
The cord mine came with is long enough so that I can sit back from my PC and play just fine.
If you're like me, and thinking, "I should get a 360 controller to play steam games...", then this will do pretty much what you think it will do for you.
Pros:
Sleek, simple design
Best ergonomic shape i've felt in a controller, fits in your hand perfectly
D-Pad is a massive upgrade from the 360 controller, and you can roll your thumb from each direction on the D-Pad very well, so it's better suited for fighting games
triggers are wide to let your finger rest, and they come down easily when pressed
buttery smooth yet still precise thumb sticks with good grip
Cons:
Took a couple of methods before I could get it working, see other thoughts
(Nitpick) bumpers aren't necessarily worse, but different, also see other thoughts
Other thoughts:
This may have been an issue with my desktop given unknown circumstances (but looking at online solution posts indicated I wasn't the only one), but the controller didn't work immediately. The drivers wouldn't install automatically, and basic troubleshooting options were unable to install them. A solution many use is described step-by-step in this video: youtube.com/watch?v=1RIDcLUpWaU
It involves manually navigating for the driver and handpicking which driver to install. This didn't work for me however, as windows no longer supplies the driver manually (as win7/8 are supposed to install automatically right when you plug in, but mine did not) and It didn't install automatically. Following the tutorial, I did not have the driver from the list the tutorial showed, which rendered the video moot.
Luckily, one of the comment provided a link to the pulled driver from Techspot, which can be found here: http://www.techspot.com/drivers/driver/file/information/17648/
I installed the driver and windows detected it and applied it automatically. You may have to go through the process described in the video, after you manually download and install the drivers from techspot however.
As for the bumpers, they're pretty high up compared to the 360 controller, and it's not optimal to take the time to mount your whole finger on top of it in an arcing motion, and then press down (plus the bumpers have a little more resistance). This is because the model being sold is 1537, an older model compared to the 1697 released back in july. the 1697 revision has easier to handle bumpers, and they're likely trying to get rid of the older model, possibly why you're able to get this controller for $45 instead of $60.
The method I prefer to use is to shift/rotate my hand a little so my middle knuckle goes towards the edge of the bumper. from there you're able to click the far edge of the bumper, below where your knuckle is. It's faster and you don't have to apply as much force to the bumper. You could also try this method here, which is a bit similar, involving rolling your finger towards it: youtube.com/watch?v=RF-smJELJ4A
once both of those are down, you're solid. The controller handles very well and smoothly like no other, and doesn't take getting used to, aside from the bumpers, even then its not too much hassle. I'd recommend this for a christmas gift for your or someone else's PC if you're wanting to save $15 on the controller.

It's a nice controller, just really damn noisy.
