- Enter your model number to make sure this fits.
- Microwave Tea Kettle boils water twice as fast as a stovetop kettle, and blows its whistle to let you know it!
- Water is piping hot for tea, instant coffee or soup...in the time it takes to reach for a mug.
- Instead of turning on a burner that takes longer to heat liquids...zip this 2-cup pitcher in your microwave and save energy.
- Dishwasher safe plastic pitcher measures, too, in milliliters and cups.

After years of frequent use, the lid has formed a crack (maybe because sometimes I use it twice in a row, not giving it a chance to cool down.) It still works but I figure I should replace it. I am very sad that it is no longer available and that others are reporting fires. I hope it is not the case that they decided to cut cost, produced an inferior and hazardous product, and then ended up pulling it out of production altogether. I have seen too many good products ruined by unnecessary cost cutting.
