Beware: has an extra exit on the left side

We love this cage and our hamster is happy. However, the cage has TWO side exits through the wire section (unlike the one that is shown in the picture), and the cage only came with one side cap (it also has a cap at the very top). We have covered it with a plastic lid for the moment, and are keeping it because the rest of the cage is so great, but others should be aware of this rather important defect. We are writing amazon in hopes that they will send us another cover like that on the other side of the cage, and will update with further information depending upon their response.

I just bought this for her and she is very happy in it!!! It was easy set up and i love that everything is included!! Its so much fun to see her go on her little adventures! I would recommend this habitat for any pet parent looking to make there hamster very happy! I added the second hiding spot at the bottom just because she likes to dig into the bedding when she goes to sleep

Fast delivery. Great hamster cage. Not very to hard to put together. Very sturdy. Would definitely recommend. I put this cage on top of a 40 gallon tank. It’s the best of 2 cages put together. I double love this set up. More importantly my hamsters love it. It’s safe secure and looks awesome. ❤️ Just need to order more tubes so hamsters can get to top level on their own. ❤️

Update December 10, 2019:
after both my hamsters passed away i think it is best to review this cage as one of my boys (Gray) was living in. The cage is crap. Hard to remove the top part, hard to clean, the wheel started making A BIG LOUD NOISE when he would run and you can’t put a different wheel cause is small, the base is small as hell, not suitable for them!! i learned my lesson by ending up getting a bin and i was better off GETTING A BIN like I did for his brother & absolutely less expensive. One of the platforms broke as i was putting it on after cleaning it. And the height of the base is depressing. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY go to your local target or something and get a bin cage instead.

I love this cage so much. It came exactly like the picture, came with instructions as while very easy to understand. The hard part of assembling was the top part because the pieces to have it stand were difficult to place, got to have a lot of force to hear it click. I have a very happy 9 year old!! Here are the things I liked:
• Awesome looking cage. It is not your average looking hamster habitat/cage.
• My daughters hamster has some where else in the habitat to move to. Movement is good for hamsters and he has plenty of space for it.
• Great sized water bottle.
• Decent sized food bowl. Definitely can’t over feed with how small it is. (Small in a good way)
• Ventilated tubes!! They are also easy to take apart for quick cleaning.
• The provided directions are easy to follow.
• Extra parts!! You are given extra parts for any extra tubes that you may want to purchase to expand your hamsters living space.
• ALL OPENINGS ARE SEALED!! In a different review I saw that this was an issue. A number is provided for you to call if any parts are missing or defective.
• Plenty of space to add any additional toys, homes, and/or a bigger bowl.
• Good depth for just enough bedding.
• The circular cubby is perfect for him. He fits perfectly. Hopefully this doesn’t become his potty.
However, I do have somethings I did not like about this product:
• The hamster wheel is NOT BIG ENOUGH!! The provided wheel is 6 inches. For me, a Syrian/Teddy Bear hamster would need a bigger wheel. It’s not small that he can’t run in it, it’s just right...which is not right for him because he needs more space.
• The sizing of the vertical portion is not big enough either. The ramps are not needed for reaching the different levels.

OVERALL!!! I give this product a 4 because of the sizing of the hamster wheel and vertical space where the wheel and cubby is. I wish it were just a bit taller and that the wheel was bigger. Otherwise it would have been a 5.
