The Midland mxt 400 mobile GMRS two-way radio features 15 GMRS channels. For extended range, the MXT400 has 40-watts of Transmit power and includes 8 repeater channels. The MXT400 does not include an antenna. A GMRS antenna must to be purchased separately to operate. The Compact design will mount just about anywhere. Best of all, the MXT400 provides the ability to talk to other Midland and most other GMRS two-way (walkie-talkie) radios on the full power GMRS channels 1-7 and 15-22. The mobile unit also features 142 privacy codes, Channel scan, programmable squelch, silent operation, Flip frame design to install on or under the dash with slide out removal of radio while Bracket remains mounted and a high contrast backlit LCD display for daytime or night use. The micro mobile is great for RVs, road trips, ATV/UTV activities, and on the Farm or Ranch. The MXT400 includes the Flip frame Detachable mount, a microphone with mic Holder, 12 Volt power cord

By far the best! Well made, not some cheap radio! You will love it! By the way, it communicates with all brands of hand held radios! Motorola, Cobra, and of course, Midland. However, using privacy channels works best with the Midland. Have to just play with the privacy codes on the Motorola to find the right combination. I am also using a Trunk Mounted Antenna!
But this radio gets two major thumbs up! The entire crew enjoys it and everyone has them now. 👽
I can only speak for my own radio, but using a Daiwa CN-501V Power/SWR meter, I get the following power output readings:
Low Power: 04 Watts
Mid Power: 20 Watts
Hi Power: 35 Watts
