The Midland XTC-200VP3 720p HD Action Camera is a wallet-friendly way to capture every nano-second of the experience and all in 720p HD. High definition footage makes for detailed images that look great on the big screen (AKA, your HDTV). What's more, this Wearable Action Camera puts a 140° lens at your disposal for a truly wide-angle capture. Plus because the camera comes with a variety of mounts, you'll be able to record from any angle imaginable, whether you're in flight, on a bike, driving a car. Using microSD memory cards you can capture 13 minutes of footage per gigabit when recording in HD, and 20 minutes per gigabit in the standard def mode. When you're done shooting, just pop those files onto your compatible PC or Mac and edit away with your favorite editing software or simply upload to the internet.

Cons: Cheap construction. Microphone cannot be turned off. Only suggested solution is to stick a piece of tape over the hole. Manual is very succinct and lacks detail. No viewfinder, and aiming is by trial and error, mostly the latter. Has single focus wide angle lens, which gives a fish-eye view of the world. Accessories provided are of limited utility and a puzzle to use. Camera is not waterproof.
In summary: You get what you pay for. OK for a beginner, but if you plan to do serious filming you'd better invest a little more in a quality product.
