A good story. It was well-written. I found the plot to be very interesting and kept me hooked. I enjoyed the interactions of the main characters. They were a perfect match. I found the dialogue also helped the story move along .I do recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance.

Sincemy specialty is Latino romance and I wanted to write about the Texas War ofIndependence from Mexico, I researched the role that native Tejanos (Texans of Mexican descentliving on Spanish land grants) played when the War broke out. Just like ourRevolutionary War, some of the Tejanossided with their home country, Mexico, but there was also a surprising numberof Tejanos that fought on the side ofthe other settlers, rebelling against Mexico. These Tejanos made the ultimate sacrifice at the Alamo and helped to winthe decisive battle of San Jacinto. The wild grapes and the bravery of Tejanos in the Texas War of Independencewere my inspirations for the book.
