So to start this product was delivered quickly and left against the side of my house, when I went to grab it I noticed the box said 2 man lift. Being that I live alone I didn't have the option of having an extra set of hands to help me getting it up my 2nd floor. Up extremely steep and narrow set of stairs that also have a very tough turn as well. This box was massive and heavy but after about 10-15 minutes of struggle I was able to get it up my stair and into the kitchen. I jammed my thumb in the process so I was already in a bad mood but that is not really the products fault, just make sure you have some help to move it to where you are setting it up. So from there I tore into the box and discarded it. After pulling out the instructions and cutting off the banding I was ready for step one. This had you taking apart all the panels and place the bottom panel on the ground, problem with this is it was packaged so idiotically that I was not able to separate the bottom panel from all the other panels. The hooks on one side had the other panels crammed in them and there was zero percent chance I could ever get them apart. After many failed attempts several four letter words and the realization that there was no way I could return the item because the box was shredded from trying to open it and I was not going to kill myself trying to get it back down the stairs, I made the decision the only way to free these hooks was going to be to bend them so I could free the other panels. So after about 15 minutes I was able to bend the hooks and free the other panels. I bent them all back into place as best I could but as you can imagine they are far from perfect. Once I got this giant problem situated the installation was actually fairly simple. You will need a large area to assemble though, I was doing it in my rather small kitchen and it definitely made it more difficult. Once it was put together I was happy with it. It appears to be much heavier duty than other dog crates I have owned and it is huge my Great Dane was able to stand upright in it which is what I wanted. Overall at this point I would probably rate it at a 3.5 stars because of the aggravation and damage I had to do to it just to get it unpackaged but the product itself seem good and if it was packaged better I would have probably given it 5 stars.
