The acting is pretty lacking along the lines of a Disney sitcom. They didn't give enough time for the viewer to fall in love with the original band before they moved into the present day story. Also the lead actress is not so great as well. I tried to get my money back shortly after I started the movie, but was told it's not eligible for refund. I would say don't waste your 12 dollars on this. Through it away on food instead. 😏
This film is a strange combination of music, family, and reincarnation - but somehow it really works!
It’s a little edgier than the typical family film but that’s a good thing. It doesn’t sugarcoat the world the way many other PG-13 movies seem to. I highly recommend it, but be warned - bring a tissue!
I liked the movie, interesting premise, a little hokey, but not too bad. I liked it more when I read the credits for the music at the end. That was a surprise. Its not a terrible way to spend a slow afternoon.
This movie was just awful. We wanted to TRY and like it but just couldn’t. Bad dialogue and bad wigs and just overall bad. Sorry to the actors and director but just wasn’t worth the $5.99. Do not recommend watching unless you want to watch an “after school special” in 2020.
