Guitar Oriented Hard rock with a Melody! THE MIGHTY SWINE take you back in time on some songs like LOST and LAYIN' DOWN THE LAW that sound like you stuck in 1988 again but some of the others like MADAM ADAM and HUMAN SACRIFICE have a modern rock sound that are refreshingly new.

Mike Skimmerhorn (CJSS/Chastain) has matured as a song writer and a vocalist and it shows on this latest release.

David Warren Byrge brings back guitar playing the way it was meant to be played, Loud and Raw! His solos are amazing and some of the best guitar work I have heard in a long time.

Dann Norris is a beast on drums - catch him live and see what I mean. The recording doesnt capture his live sound and I must say, were probably undervalued and the least mixed on this CD, but overall, sound good.

The first two cuts, EVERLAST and LAYIN' DOWN the LAW could have been better mixed but are strong songs none the less. My overall favorite is LIGHT of DAY although Human Sacrifice and Layin' Down the Law are close seconds.

If you like big hair metal, shredding guitar solos, Sammy Hagar, Ac/Dc, Kid Rock, Aerosmith, or Motley Crue, then check this disc out - you wont be disappointed!
