Cooling relief when you really need it. They start off cool right out of the package and will remain cool for days. When taking on the heat they do warm up themselves. Remove it to allow it to cool back down for a minute and then stick it back on your head. Beats a cool wet cloth by leaps and bounds. Does have a slight odor. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and don't find it too bad unless the migraine is causing nausea where any degree of smell is offensive.

It seems like a silly idea, but these really help when I have a migraine and cannot take medication due to nausea! I even use them when I can take medicine because they help that much! I always keep a stock of them around, and work exactly the same as the much more expensive name brand ones! I like these better because they are individually packaged and the name brand ones come two to a package and can dry out if left open!
