I bought the Miku monitors a while back for my daughter who was having twins. The twins were delivered early and the babies were in the NICU for weeks so this is why this review was delayed. Now that my daughter has had time to use the monitors this is what she says about them: We are so happy with our 2 Miku monitors. We have one setup over each crib for our twins and they both work really well together. Setup was incredibly easy with all parts and tools included with various types of mounting screws and options to hide the cords. It even came with a level. Everything we needed was in the box. The instructions were very easy to follow and the installation process was fast and straightforward. It took about 20 minutes from opening the box to finishing installation of the camera. The end results are nice and clean. The cameras are not big and we hardly notice them on the wall, see photos.

With twins, we wanted to have something that would help us monitor both babies at the same time. The fact that it has a setting specifically for preemie babies was another huge plus since our babies came so early. The app with the Miku system allows both of us to see the video feed, which is super high quality both during the day and at night, and both of us get alerts for both babies on each of our phones. It also has a bunch of white noise and lullaby options that our babies love to listen too. All of which can be turned on through the app and you can determine how long the music will play.

We are very happy with the monitors and still can't get over the clarity of the video, see photos. You can take screen shots and share with the grandparents or other family members. We are enjoying the monitors and are grateful for the security the monitors provide us.

I had tried many devices prior to this, none of them I could trust. So I got two dogs to watch after my baby, they kept falling asleep and don't have night vision. So I tried the Miku... every parent should get a Miku. The breathing and live RPM's allow me to never worry. THAT'S PRICELESS! Crystal clear image and the wall mount never leave a question on my mind when my baby rolls into a weird ball. I know my baby is sleeping, safe, and I can sing to her should she awake (I have a great voice according to my dogs). Miku offers me everything. So buy it and thank me!

Very cool monitor. I love the clear full view it gives, especially at night. The music and white noise feature helps me keep the nursery minimal. The sounds are soothing. My favorite part of this monitor is the contact free breathing technology. It is really incredible. It feels good to not have to question if the baby is breathing. Using my phone as the monitor has been convenient and easy to access. We have not experienced any connectivity issues. I had another monitor before that did not work as well, this purchase was an upgrade. I highly recommend the Miku monitor, you will not regret it!

So after much research down the internet rabbit hole to find a baby monitor with breathing monitoring features I stumbled across the Miku. I LOVE that compared to other brands out there, the Miku does not require any wearables therefore my baby can never outgrow it (I believe the Miku monitors children up to 12yrs old, What a relief)! My package arrived the very next day thanks to Amazon & I was able to download the app immediately and was ready for set up. The Miku sets up to your wifi (which honestly took me a while to sort out and I had to keep trying to pair to Bluetooth & my wifi/so patience is required if it doesn’t automatically sync up. Luckily Miku customer service was super helpful and I eventually was able to connect.

PROs
I love that Miku has the option to be portable anywhere in my house (as we additionally purchased the floor stand too).

I love that the Miku comes with different sound options that I can set up for baby, so I didn’t need to purchase an additional sound machine.

I love that I can access everything right from my phone AND two-way talk to my baby from my phone.

I also love that the feature on set up has you outline and measure the crib as to not have any ‘hidden blind spots’ inside the crib- the camera captures everything!

The Miku also has a setting for setting an alarm to notify you if there’s no movement, or RPMs, or issues of concern so that I don’t constantly need to keep an eye out... it lets me know if they detect any issues so I don’t have to constantly check (mom anxiety is real).

Has humidity & Room Temp monitored as well (this is a big discussion in my home- I’m constantly trying to get the room just right 68-72 for my baby) and this alone gives me peace of mind.

Cons
The set up connection to wifi/Bluetooth took a while to get it going, luckily I got it sorted and all is good ever since

I’m still playing around with the settings to get used to the analytics part of the app, I’m positive once I understand it it’ll be awesome, but that may be me and a ‘user problem’ but it seems to be an added feature anyways!

Too expensive for the app not to work, doesn't give me a piece of mind at night. It worked in the beginning and now I'm on day 8 of using the Miku and already having problems.

When it works it's great. Night vision is great and picture quality is good too. I wouldn't waste your money on this monitor. It freezes a lot, takes a bit to load, the screen goes black and doesn't work and recently went green. I had to close the app too many times and even then it doesn't work. The sound also went choppy.
