I adore this powder as a way to soften my blush. If you are fair (or so fair that you are nearly see-through, like me), this is a very soft blush, but it functions better as a way to blur the edges of your blush, lighten it's effect and also make your cheeks glow. Brush a little on your temples for a more radiant look too.
I will be buying this again as a gift for my teen niece. Great product and a good value.

I am very pleased with the Milani Illuminating powder. A Kabuki brush is recommended, but I have had excellent results with a regular blush-brush. I brush Milani powder over my entire face . It is a natural look and very nice. Years ago I paid a fortune for a Guerlain powder that was almost the same as this powder. I was happy to find Milani at a great price point. I also like that it is made in Italy. I have found lately that by reading the fine print many of my cosmetics are made in China. Maybelline and Revlon are two examples. I just associate Italy with quality cosmetics and fashion! I can definitely recommend this product- and I am a picky consumer!

This is a lovely blush I gifted to my mother who was impressed by the beautiful color, rose patterned surface, and sturdy packaging. The gold plastic gives this quality drugstore brand item a luxurious look as well as the thick plastic lid. Milani is made in Italy. The powder has no smell and is a satin- cool light pink. This blush is larger than Milani's baked blushes and doe not include a brush and mirror like the other blush does. This blush is very pretty in person and I love this brand. They make great products that are totally worth the price.

Very subtle, which I like. I dab at the individual colors when I want more of a specific color. The pinks are really nice on my light olive complexion. There's a bit of cream tones and light mocha brown. I use this product after I've put on my blush and coverup. Easy to control the quantity of applied material. Not much sparkle which is good for me, but provides just a light glow.

Its very subtle so for people with very pale skin this would make a nice bronzer but I have to put a LOT on to see any colour (I am a red head with light self tanning)
I like it though because the powder is harder than most and so it will take a while before it runs out.
It is matte too so no shiny face. Very natural.

I have other Milani products which I have loved. This too looked to be a winner, as I just love how pretty it looks. However, this has ended up in the 'redundant pile' :O. I'm afraid I genuinely cannot see it!! I even tried it in full light on the back of my hand to see if it was just my eyes, but all I could see was a few sparkles. Maybe I just got a dud?
