I will sum up my feelings about all three together. The first thing I loved about these books was how real the situations were. The three males didnt have to do some secret op to rescue their damsels. The plots were all real life problems and handled by real life solutions. The sexual scenes were understated but exciting, once again in a real way.
As a real army wife, I really enjoyed these three stories. The author kept it realistic with a huge dose of romance. I recommend this for anyone to read.
Individually, all three were strong stories with well developed plots and characters. My favourite story was book 1 Lucas and Isla's story but my favourite ranger was Colton.
Book 1 Lucas and Isla was funny and emotional in the best way.
Book 2 Colton and Karena was absolutely adorable. From how they met on a parenting blog, to him helping her with the Lucy drama..... He was such a softy but alpha male when he needed to be!
Book 3 Miles and Penny's story was a great way to close out the series.
Add the Novella epilogue to answer any final questions while giving a teaser for the future Army Wives books was GENIUS!
I ant wait to see what comes next in the series
Anyway, I enjoyed each story, because of the characters and their circumstances. I thought the couples jumped into everything too soon but, in fairytale-land, we imagine that love as and happiness prevail so, it's all good.
I liked the writing tone and flow, the characters, their tight friendships, and the level of "hit-and-steamy" (definitely present but not overdone).
I would definitely read more from these authors.
