Milescraft 1219 CircleGuideKit
Using your router, you can cut circles from 1.5" to 52" in diameter
Cut small and large circles from 1.5” in diameter to 52” in diameter with the CircleGuideKit. With the included TurnLock base plate, this product is compatible with most routers. There is no longer a need for that homemade router circle jig, the CircleGuideKit does it all for you and includes everything you need to cut your desired circle. This router guide also includes a BONUS Offset Base for finishing edges on your work piece. Best used with a plunge router.

I've struggled for years when I have to cut or make circles - it just is not simple. Recently I found a YouTube video of a shop-made circle jig, then found this. For $40 this was a no-brainer.You can read the product description for the details. What I found was that connecting my 30-year-old Bosch B1450 plunge router was easy. I used the bolts Bosch provided with the plastic plate and some small washers and it connected right up. I didn't have to drill extra holes, I just needed the washers to provide a bit more diameter for the bolt head.The project above are the latitude setting blocks for a home-made equatorial wedge for my telescope. I first considered cutting the slits with my drill press and actually did that for another component of the mount, but it is hard on the press and the results were not all that smooth. With this kit, I just carefully drew the limits, set a set screw as a stop, and quickly cut the slits. The outside diameter of the block was just as easy. For the outside diameter, I cut most of the way through first, then cut the piece to its final dimensions on my table saw, then re-attached the jig and cut the final bit off. Even with having to reset the scale because the screw was hidden at a 10" diameter, getting back to the exact diameter was very easy.I did find that like many tool gauges, the scales are not totally accurate. I did have to fiddle just a bit with the small circle gauge to get a precise cut position, but once I got it the cut went very smooth and I had no problems with movement or anything else.I highly recommend this.PROS- Cuts circles from tiny to 52"- Easy to set up and use- Instructions are very clear and detailed- While plastic, it is very thick and seems durable - treat it with care and it should last for years- Everything comes in a nice, durable box that will keep all parts togetherCONS- Really, this is just a nit: like gauges on many tools, the scale is a bit off so make sure you don't rely on the scale alone if you need very precise cuts

I use it for cutting holes in subwoofer enclosures. Very easy and accurate once you get it set up and figured out. I lije the quick connection and the built in rulers. Glad I bought it.

I was in the market for a plunge router (requires plunge router) so I actually bought the guide first, then bought a plunge router based on their comparability sheet. I bought the DW618PK for use with this but the guide covers a large number of routers including some of the lower-end plunge routers. With a quality router the fit was perfect and the cuts were exact.
This cut also comes with a bit too so don’t worry about having to find a 1/4” bit for the job.
Follow the directions, 1/4” max cut per pass. You could probably go deeper with a larger bit but with the supplies bit, stay with the max cut. (3 passes took about a minute for the circle pictures).
Highly recommend.

I was eager to use this as I needed to make a clean hole for a vacuum cart to hold a bucket for dust collection. The directions were easy to follow and I had this jig installed on the plunge router accessory for my Dewalt 20V router, DCW600B. You do need the plunge router accessory for it in order for this jig to work.Reviewed in Canada on October 22, 2021
I was able to use two screws to hold the base plate to the plunge router accessorie and it worked out perfectly. Once you follow the instructions and center it, the rest is self explanatory. In short for the short version of the jig, you have to screw the jig into the work piece and for the long version which I have not used, you fix the pivot to the work piece and then the long piece that will rotate over that.
All in all, I was super pleased with the hole that it cut. I took my time and used three passes to complete the cut. At each pass I lowered it a level. I pushed it along in a slow manner leaving the tool do the work. Pricey but worth it. Using this gave me much cleaner holes than using a jig saw.
